At 'The Great Escape', We Welcome you to escape the hustle & bustle of everyday life. Our goal is providing an atmosphere that will leave you refreshed & restored!

A peaceful place to just get away, 'The Great Escape' is a home with beautiful and very comfortable furnishings. Located less than 1/4 mile from the lake and only 10 minutes from the 76-Branson Strip (Country Music Blvd). The home is located away from the hustle & bustle of town, while conveniently close to any main attractions Branson has to offer.
Our home will take your breath away with features like:
A welcoming covered front porch, full length upper back deck, and a patio below with an amazing view of the sunset. A well-lit, cathedral ceiling kitchen & living area, granite counter-tops, king size beds, with lower level living area. Also, the community zero-entry pool is within 50 yards! Above the pool, is a three-story Club House with pool table, Kitchen, workout room, poker table, and a breath-taking view overlooking Table Rock Lake.
In our home, you will enjoy amenities such as: A fully equipped kitchen, Gas grill, plush towels, Washer/Dryer, two 50-inch flat screen TV's & Brunswick Foosball table.

So, let me tell you about our 5 bedroom/3 bath home that will surely give your family space to spread out. Upon entry you are greeted with an open 'Great Room' which has our kitchen with stainless appliances/granite counter tops & stocked to cook up your family meal. The large island is a great place to hang out or get in some baking time with the grand kids/additional bar seating at the island with bar stools. The Dining area comfortably sits 8 and is open to our living room area with a leather sectional sofa to take in movies on the 50" TV. Walk right out to our deck which has ample seating and stainless gas grill for your BBQ guys/or girls in your group. Majestic sunsets are bound to captivate you!

On this main floor you also have two King Bedrooms. The first King Bedroom has a wonderful bay window with tall ceilings. An on-suite bath is accessible by this bedroom and also accessible by the Great Room. The second King Bedroom is a Master Suite with private bath/Jacuzzi tub/Walk in Shower & a wonderful double vanity sink.
The laundry room with full size washer & dryer is also located on the main level.

As we go downstairs to the lower walkout level, you have a fantastic Rec Room with foosball table and another large sectional sofa, plus another 50" TV to watch your favorite movie on.
A full bath is accessible by the Rec Room and here you will also find an ironing board/iron for your use.
The 3rd King Bedroom is located right off the Rec Room. The 4th bedroom has a King bed(1 queen air bed with linens in closest) The 5th bedroom has a Queen Bed and a full size bunk bed for your extra guests.

All bedrooms have their own large tv's
From our Rec Room you can walk right outside to a large covered patio.

The Public Boat Launch with courtesy dock is only a mile away! The State Park Marina is less than 5 miles away where you can rent all your boating craft needs while on vacation. The Showboat Branson Belle/Table Rock Dam/Dewey Short Center/Glass House Museum/Shepherd of the Hills Fish Hatchery is just a 6 mile drive from our home. **NO BOAT OR TRAILER PARKING ALLOWED AT HOME OR WITHIN BRANSON CANYON

Late season lake getaway
The property is very family friendly! The layout allowed my early bird husband and night owl kids to peacefully coexist. The pool was zero entry and had a splash pad. There was a second pool located right next to it that had a small slide. We made all meals at the house. There is plenty of cookware, utensils, plates and cups. Plan to bring salt & pepper, cooking spray or oil, and all condiments with you.

The house was nice and tidy. The beds were really comfortable. The house was far enough away to be isolated but close enough to the action of Hollister/Branson. We had a party of 10 people, and the five bedrooms really came in handy. Owner was responsive and great to work with.

If you have a large crew, this is the place. There are two living spaces so the kids could have their space and the adults could have theirs. The house is located adjacent to the pool and clubhouse. It's very private yet close to attractions like Top of the Rock. You will not be disappointed.

Nice place, not clean
Nice area, convenient location. Locted across from the nice pool. Grill lid is broken, offered to bring another. Only a one washcloth and hand towel per bathroom. Our feet were dirty within minutes of walking on the floors. Toothpaste splattered on bathroom cabinet and floor. Shower floors gray with dirt. Cleaning company is obviously not doing they're job and guests are still charged cleaning fee. Dust build up on vents, lights, and baseboards. I had read a review that mentioned cleanliness issues but owner responded that they were glad to be notified and would see to it. Hasn't happened.

The house was jus ok one of the rooms had a punch mark in the door house was jus really empty u can tell it wasn't complete the pool was green and horrible one of the issues was the pool and workout area the space with 3 exercise machines cannot be called a workout room the game area had a pool table and foosball really not all that good also the property was very far from everything I'm talking nothing was close everything was a long drive away

The house was nice but there were a few issues. 1. Master shower leaked & the on/off did not have a regulator to stop it from spinning 360 2. Propane tank was not full (ran out before steaks complete) 3. Would have been nice to have instructions on the TVs (some wouldn't even turn on) LOVED the lay-out Kitchen & FM was GREAT Overall had a great time

We had a great time. 15 minute drive to Branson and Silver Dollar City. We had kids and grandkids. First morning when we tried to make coffee, coffee maker was broken. Didn’t expect to have one that morning, but contacted host and we had one in a short amount of time. Highly recommend.

The property was very nice. We had a large group of family and friends and had plenty of space to spread out. We were about 10-15 minutes from 76 strip and about 25 minutes from SDC. The large dining room was very nice so we all could eat together for meals. Would stay here again.

The house was a great size!! There were 10 of us ladies and we all got to have space!! It’s not very well decorated, it’s all very simple!! There were several lights out which was a bummer! You’ll need to bring your own everything, the kitchen was not very well stocked!! Overall, it was a great place!!

Maybe need a new cleaning crew
The house location, size, etc was good. But, the house itself was not very clean and the furnishings are old and some need replaced. The game table had a piece missing, the coffee table was really yucky, the shower doors were not connected at the bottom, walls in the bathrooms really just need to be wiped down…the front bathroom had not been flushed (lid up and urine in toilet) when we arrived… with dirty towel on the counter. I’ve stayed at a lot of VRBO’s and this one was just OK. Again, not awful, just not what I was expecting based on pictures and past VRBO rentals.

Beautiful home, but needs some Maintenance upkeeps and new Cleaning Crew.
This is a beautiful subdivision and house, as well its amazing amenities with the pools and playground for kids. There are a few maintenance things that for sure need to be reviewed by the owner before I would give it a perfect rating. The Kitchen faucet was so loose that we were scared to touch it and be responsible for it breaking all together. The Garbage disposal was not function so that side of the sink didn't drain well at all. Two of the shower doors push in from the front when you go to move them. Freezer was leaking into the fridge and spoiled some of our food. The basement bathroom sick stopper doesn't work so if that drops down, good luck getting it unstuck. Also think that the cleaning crew needs some new training. We found garbage all over the house as we were unloading at the beginning of our stay. In draws, under beds and couches. The pots and pans were greasy and had food on them so we ended up hand washing everything before use. Like I mentioned at the beginning this is a beautiful house and property, but there are some maintenance and cleaning issues that need to be addressed before I would give this a five star review.
