Perfect! Would highly recommend.
We got so lucky to get this place last minute. It had everything we needed. The property manager were very attentive and quick to respond. Such a great location with boat ramp access to the canal that made it easy for us to launch our 12' john boat for some early morning fishing before heading to the beach for the day. Would highly recommend.

Best little cottage
The home was cozy and the cleanest home we have stayed in yet. It was nice to have sheets and towels provided. We were able to put in our kayaks and enjoy the pier. Kitchen was furnished with all the cooking equipment we needed. We hope that we are able to rent next year.

Great stay by the water
The place is very nice and cozy, was perfect for four guests and two dogs. Access to swimming, fishing, boating, etc. right off the back porch. Back porch was the family favorite hangout spot for the trip. Enjoyed seeing the dolphins in the morning while enjoying our coffee. Would stay again!

Loved the little cottage by the canal. So relaxing to sit on the screened back porch and watch the Porpoise meander in the canal. A nice walk to the ocean. A very relaxing week. Hope to do it again.

Surf City house
Very nice size for just the two of us, however it had room for several more. Great privacy on a dead-end road and close to the town. It is an older house and the appliances could use an updating but everything worked just fine. Big hint: make sure to flip the switch for the hot water tank when you arrive if it’s not already on. Cold shower…brrr.

Bungalow getaway
This small ‘fisherman’s bungalow was the perfect size for the 3 people that stayed. It’s obviously an older property, but they’ve made updates to much of it. Clean and tidy, but beachy & casual. We were able to catch crabs off the back dock, and even a few (tiny) fish, so that provided some entertainment during the evenings. 1/2 mile walk to the beach was no big deal, and it’s a beautiful beach. The neighbors are lovely and friendly and we had the most relaxing and fun week. Would definitely rent this location again!

Great sound-side getwaway!
We rented this place for a few days for a quick beach getaway, and we had a great time. The house is small but had what we needed. There is no dishwasher, but we used paper plates, and it was not an issue. The dock and water in the backyard were where we spent most of our time, other than on the porch. The screen was ripped and needs repair in a few places. Definitely take water shoes if you plan to go in (or buy when you get there $10-$13 at East Coast Sports or Wings) the water by the dock as there are some shallow areas and there are shells. Other than that, take a raft or two and float your cares away! The beach is also a quick half mile walk away. We loved that we could take our dogs too! We will be back!

Nice area
The home could use a little TLC. I’ve rented VRBO for many years in San Diego, Florida, Missouri and Colorado. I paid more for this rental than I have any other rental. It was not exactly what I expected but did have some nice qualities. The screened porch was our favorite and most used area. The doc was nice. I asked long time neighbor if it was safe to swim after I didn’t get response from VRBO. It is safe. My kids and grandkids loved that. Wished there were additional tv’s and dishwasher. I missed that part. I assumed most homes now days have them and a disposal on sink. I worked all week cleaning dishes for 6. My real issues here were the ants. (Food wasted because they got in pancake mix, cookies, snack foods)They were there before the hurricane hit but after they were everywhere. Including on me while I slept. They did send bug man. They were better by Thursday. Microwave wasn’t working. Home wasn’t level and the flooring was coming up. It wasn’t the best accommodations but it did serve the purpose. I was able to spend time w my Marine son and that’s what we came for.

Our staycation
Renting this house, only 14 miles from our family’s home, turned into one of the best weeks of the year. The house was a perfect size for our family, it was clean, and I loved that the linens were clean and packaged and we put them on the beds. The house is short drive to the public beach access, on a quiet street, and the sunsets from the backyard were breathtaking. The listing said the house had a dock, which it did, and I called the property manager to confirm before renting that it could fit a boat. My husband drove our boat to the house on the waterway. Once he got there, the dock definitely didn’t fit a boat. Luckily the neighbor was incredibly kind and let us park at her dock. The AC unit was also not working. I called on Saturday evening, a couple hours after check in, to let someone know. Sunday they were closed, which is understandable, but no one called me back Monday either. We couldn’t get the house below 77 degrees. I called back on Tuesday and they replaced the unit on Wednesday. So, whoever rents this property next should have the perfect, cool stay :)
