Looking for Nose Bears
Intrigued by the nose bears, but mostly ready to enjoy the unique atmosphere of the place, I was working in the area this week and took the opportunity to stay here for a second time. Friendly staff, good food, hundreds of elephants and a beautiful setting are all an attraction. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here as often as I have opportunity. An old water mill, this hotel/ inn is owned and run by a wonderful Danish eccentric - I hope she wouldn't mind me calling her that, but where else would you find llamas, stroppy geese, emus, nose bears, a lake and a golf course in he same place? You're made to feel welcome, the rooms are comfortable, though not luxurious; the beer is good; the walks beautiful; the place peaceful - though maybe not if the owners' Harley is ever on site. Love it, love it, love it..... just maybe the nose bears will be awake next time??

A unique country Inn with intimate ambience!
Simple but satisfactory accomodations with all necessary comfort, and not a lot of unnecessary items. On the other hand a very unique location and environment with a superb landscape and ambience. Lake, animals, pastures and views as well as golf and various activities for kids. From my point of view something very special with a unique traditional ans simplistic athmosphere. Highly recomendable for families with small kids!

Selve stedet trænger til en kærlig hånd , men det er netop , hvad man får af personalet ! Enkel, ren mad som ikke er sovset ind i alt muligt , laksen er hjemmerøget og rigtig meget ved morgenbordet , er også hjemmelavet . Et sjældent syn, men skønt for os ! Stedet ligger skønt med møllesøen tæt på spisebordet, sjov og velholdt golfbane , levende dyr og sjove ting til børn

Meget skuffende. Vi rejste efter at have været på to værelser , som begge var meget mangelfulde . Vi betalte dog ikke for opholdet da værtsparret undskyldte . Synes sket ikke at oplysningerne om hotellet stemmer overens med virkeligheden.

Et dejligt men slidt sted.
Det er et virkelig hyggeligt sted i meget idylliske omgivelser. Desværre bærer stedet præg af at være meget slidt. Det virker som om man har alt for mange ting igang og ikke har tid til at komme rundt om vedligeholdelse af bygningerne samtidig med pasning af alle dyr. Morgenmaden var et minimum af hvad man kan forvente på et kro/hotel ophold. Når dette er sagt var det et dejligt sted at besøge som familie og personalet var meget venlige.
