Close-by is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, within a five minute walk of Blakeney Quay. It is a spacious detached bungalow which has been charmingly renovated. Set in a large secure garden ideal for a small family or two couples - somewhere to relax away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The Quay, with its beautiful views over the marshes, tidal creeks and out to sea, is a great place for the family to try their hand at crabbing and a good starting point for a walk along the coastal path. Take a boat trip from nearby Morston to see the seals on Blakeney Point. At Close-by you are within a short stroll of a well stocked supermarket, fishmongers, coffee shop, restaurants, pubs, garage with petrol pumps, art galleries, card/gift shops, play park and tennis courts.

Regular events including Antique and Collectors Fayres take place in the Village Hall and the Blakeney Harbour Room is a wonderful venue for weekly live music with a wide selection of Groups and Bands.

Close-by has a large driveway with off-street parking for up to 3 cars - a real rarity in Blakeney! There are two garden areas, one at the front and one at the back, which is secure and south facing and ideal for children and pets. The padlocked garden shed (situated in the back garden) is ideal for those wishing to bring their bicycles on holiday.

The sitting/dining room has comfortable seating, freeview TV, WiFi, bluetooth soundbar, DVD player, Gazco electric inset fire, board games and books. The dining table seats up to 6.

French doors open out onto the secure back garden with garden shed, paved terrace, garden table, barbeque and washing line.

The kitchen is spacious and well equipped with electric cooker, large fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. A walk-in cupboard houses the water cylinder, brushes and dust pans etc.

The back door leads out to a separate "Boot Room" with hooks for coats and swimming towels; plenty of space for outdoor shoes and wellies.

Bedroom 1 has a king sized bed, chest of drawers, built-in wardrobe (housing ironing board, iron and indoor airer). Bedroom 2 has twin beds, chest of drawers and clothes hooks.

From December 2024 there will be a walk-in shower only plus washbasin and wc.

The heating is oil fired and mobile signal for Vodafone and O2 is now much improved.

Towels and linen are provided; travel cot, high chair and swimming towels are provided on request.

The Spar Supermarket in the village is very well equipped. There is also a Budgens in Holt and a large Tesco in Sheringham.
