Welcome to Barefoot Kona @ Alii Point. Be one with nature in a family friendly 2 story oceanfront villa, located in an exclusive gated community of only 16 homes - with private access to a heated pool, tennis court and a beach where lava rocks meet the sea!

A meandering path from the home's backyard leads you to the ocean. Unwind with fresh ocean air, tall palms & majestic banyan trees.

Located between Magic Sands & Kailua Village, come live the island experience!

This 2 story oceanfront villa sleeps 8, offers you spacious living with a tropical yard overlooking the ocean. Live in ultimate luxury with enough space for all your guests.

Upstairs you'll find a large master suite complete with a King bed, a large walk in closet, a master bath, a large flat screen TV with cable and a private lanai that overlooks the ocean. A separate space upstairs can be used in multiple ways - a remote office complete with a 32 inch flatscreen, room for kids to play or read - choice is yours.

Downstairs has two bedrooms with queen beds. They share a full bath. You'll find a fully equipped laundry room on this level.

The large Living area, Kitchen and Dining room features floor to ceiling sliding doors leading to the lanai. The living room has comfortable sofas and a recliner to lounge or nap on as well The villa is well stocked with luxury linens and ample towels along with fun stuff like board games, crayons and puzzles .

The kitchen is well equipped with small appliances, cookware and gadgets to make you feel right at home. (Microwave, Toaster, Coffee Machine, Kettle, Air Fryer, Blender).

The Lanai/Patio area comes with comfortable lounge chairs, dining table and chairs, umbrella and a gas grill.

The 70 in large screen Smart TV in the living room is perfect for streaming your favorite shows with high speed wireless internet and cable TV available for free.

For families visiting us with little ones, we also offer a high chair, step stools, Pack n Play and a stroller for your convenience.

The serene backyard offers you a place to relax and enjoy the ocean breeze. You also have the option to pull out the yoga mat for a good stretch in this beautiful setting surrounded by lush greenery and the sound of the waves.

Many windows in the house bring in cool Hawaiian breeze, and there is split level air-conditioning in all rooms for warmer days or humid nights.

This home has private access to a lava rock beach, and is conveniently located a mile north of the Magic Sands Beach Park. It’s just 2 miles south of the historic Kailua-Kona village with trendy shops and wonderful restaurants.

Kailua-Kona pier gives you access to scuba diving, kayaking, dolphin/whale watching. The pier is also the starting point of the Ironman World Championship which is usually held in October.

Safeway, Walmart, Target, Starbucks and many other stores are all within a 4 mile radius. Costco is approximately 8 miles away and Kona airport is around 11 miles.

This home sits inside a gated community of 16 homes with access to a heated outdoor pool , a tennis court and lava rock beach.

Pool access - Guests have access to the gated pool just steps from the villa. Swim in the pool at your own risk, as no lifeguards are on duty. Small children need to be supervised at all times.

Beach access - Guests can use the same key to access the beach area, just steps across the house near house number 5. This is a lava rock beach like most beaches in Kona.

The guests will have access to the entire house, except for the garage and a couple cabinets that are locked to store additional supplies.

Parking is only allowed on the driveway. The HOA does not allow street parking.

I won't be available to interact in person but I will be available via chat or phone.

I have a local resident property manager who is available in case of any emergencies or any major issues you may face during your stay and help resolve them promptly.

This is a lovely property. The house is beautiful with tons of space for sleeping and lounging - both indoors and out. Lovely garden that leads to a black rock beach. Accessible to everything we wanted to do in the Kona area. Highly recommend.

Beautiful house but not exactly as advertised
We stayed in this property for 5 nights. The good- It is a beautiful home in a nice location. The not so good-I found the property manager not very responsive. Before our trip I'd emailed her a question. I never got a response. I emailed a second time and did receive a response then. Also, I did not receive the front door code several days before our arrival as promised. The night we arrived I called and emailed the property manager. When I did get in touch with her she told me it was sent in the VRBO app (which I don't have). All of our communication prior had been done through the website and I expected the entry information to be through the same channels. I feel like she's lacking in communication. The guest information book notes to keep counters clean and doors closed because they do have a bug problem for which they spray monthly. Our first day there the small ants began showing up all over the counter. We didn't leave food out on the counter and wiped it clean after each use. The bugs were so bad that one morning at breakfast the ants were crawling all over the plate of bacon 5 minutes after I'd finished cooking before it had been plated! We also had a huge cockroach in our main bedroom one night. The "beach" is a very rocky and rough area next to an apartment complex that is not beautiful, appealing or accessible. The pool is closed through 08/23 and we were not told about this ahead of time. I only found out when I asked the manager for the code.

The home was amazing! It had everything we needed and more. Very nicely decorated and spacious. Ritika is a wonderful host. She was quick to respond to our questions. The location is perfect. Close to shopping and many other adventures. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this home.

Great place to stay
The place looks just like the photos. The house is spacious, clean, and quiet. My family enjoyed it very much. It has a great view of the ocean, and close to everywhere if you are going to spend most of your time in Kona. Keep in mind that you will need tennis shoes in case you are going to play. No running shoes allowed. We needed an extra hair dryer so the property manager was kind enough to get us another extra. We would love to visit again! It felt like home!
