Gorgeous building, parts of decor looking a bit tired but nicely decorated. Bi-fold door on the bathroom not to our taste, no handle inside to close firmly for privacy. But we loved the history of the building. Breakfast, nice options offered. Our bacon and egg was overdone and dry, but chef was on his own and managed his best.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights at this property both owners very welcoming it is in a quite location but it does have a road in ear shot of the property so if your a person with sleeping issues i.e noise from traffic then this may not suit you the rooms are very comfortable and clean. The breakfast room is well presented with a list of breakfast items that you pick what you would like to have freshly cooked the chef also cooks for those with Celiac if you want to sit outside they have tables with umbrellas to restrict the sun car parking is no issue one place that we found and had a lovely meal was Barleymows Farm Shop a short distance away by car.

22 mile hiking stop over.
Our stay was very short but comfortable. The room was very nice. Because we had had a long walk after an early start we had no touble sleeping next to the A30, which was quieter than we expected. Breakfast was great and the shower was refreshing and powerful.

No restaurant now but five star breakfast.
The Belfry was lovely, however we arrived around 7pm on a wet and windy evening, only to find that they don't have a restaraunt now and haven't had for nine years. After travelling all day expecting to relax with a lovely meal as per the photo's on the website of various meals had shown, we were dissapointed to have to check in then drive a around five miles in terrible weather to get dinner. However the wonderful breakfast next morning was five star.
