The location of the Best Western is convenient - it’s close to the airport and from what I can tell, it’s one of the few hotels in Honolulu that has an airport shuttle; which was most important to our group of 16 people. The facility however is dated. Also, as a lessons learned I originally booked the courtyard which is two floors does not have an elevator. I learned what stair access only means 😅. It was not an issue to switch to the tower which has elevators. Staff is friendly.

Good place to stay overnight for a connectng flight. Front desk staff one person in particular was not helpful at all and seemed annoyed when we asked for help with transport. Area had some homeless people but they didnt make you feel unsafe.

This property is a little outdated, but it was very clean, super convenient to the airport and the staff was really nice and attentive. My plus is the breakfast, they had a great selection and the dining area was super nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Complimentary shuttle is not 24/7
We booked this hotel as we had a very early flight and they had a complimentary shuttle bus to the airport. However it doesn’t run between 1am and 5am and we needed to leave at 4am. As a result we had to pay nearly $40 for a taxi to take us a journey of half a mile as we were advised it wasn’t safe to walk.

We had a very short layover in Honolulu. Our flight was really late arriving, but the shuttle driver was very prompt. The women at the check in desk was very friendly and informative. Vary conveniently located near the airport. Will definitely add to my favorites.

I paid nearly $300 Australian dollars only to be put basically in the motel version of this hotel, not the actual hotel building. I had to drag all my bags by myself to be in a room facing a busy highway . The room smelled of cigarette smoke. I had stayed at this hotel before so I thought I was staying in a hotel room . The excuse was that Expedia had put that I had chosen a pet friendly room. I do not have any pets flying with me.. I have a layover until another ten hours flying . I complained and was put in a room in the actual hotel. Then I had to drag all my bags again through the cleaning that was going on with those rooms. Beer cans everywhere. Just disgusting. I am fed up with the false advertising that your website offers when people are paying a lot of money thinking they are staying somewhere okay when they are tired from travelling. They were not apologetic at all and said it’s my fault for choosing a pet friendly room. I won’t be using your site again.
