Stayed for a week and really enjoyed the hotel! Staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. Room was clean. Lots of food spots, shops. The only down side is that if there’s a lot of foot tragic, elevator wait times can take a few minutes.

PRO: The room was spacious and clean, pink line trolley stop at the top of the street, close to the beach and a short walk to the main area on Kalākaua Ave. Was able to arrange day stay for a fee due to late outbound flight. CON: There was substantial wait times for elevators. A limited breakfast is served around the pool on level 3 with very little undercover area for inclement weather. Caters well to families, but can be very noisy as a result.

This hotel is the worst Hyatt I have ever stayed. Not saying it’s pricey, yet not enough space for breakfast, even worse if it’s raining. Garbage trucks working on site at 04:30 AM for 45 minutes. Only 2 elevators for 20 stories, 15 rooms or more each level, long waiting for elevator is daily basis. The whole building is not sound proven and guests have to slam their doors to lock it. I will never stay in this hotel again.

Although residing on third floor, not seeing any unwelcome guest or visitors. Improvement needed to provide rain proof table during breakfast time. There were days eating breakfast with rains falling down on table, chair and plates.

The staff made everything easy and convenient. Short walk to the beach, food trucks outside, ABC store next door. Big buffet daily for breakfast. Provide towels, chairs and other beach items. Have a rental car service in the building, making it super easy to get a car.

Not bad. Close to beach. Like a 2 min walk. Ocean facing rooms blocked by a few buildings, but you can still see the ocean, just know view will be partially blocked. But there are balconies you can sit and watch the sunset which is nice. Room was pretty small. Also we found someone’s toenail nail clippings on the balcony which is super disgusting. I mean like all of them, not just a few. It seems they don’t clean as they should, or at least for our room they didn’t. Other than those few things we had a pretty good stay overall.
