Affordable accommodation
We stayed at hilton beach for 3days enjoying the resort then we move to his hotel located right next to it. Equus was a perfect for us. We rented a car and traveled around the island visiting all the amazing sights. The room is cleaned every third day, so keep that it in mind if you are staying for less. Friendly staff and affordable accommodation

Good hotel
Good location. Very near to the beach. The hotel provided chairs and towels. Stores and supermarket nearby. Nice room, good size and good design. Nice staff, very helpful. The only complain is the 4 percent charge on card payment.

Mr first I was very surprised when I saw my room was perfectly organized and at first I wasn’t sure what or who did organized and cleansed it. Then a day later, I saw one of the workers told me that it was her routine to do some cleaning to make sure the customer was needed. And I would say that is a good service way to go.

This was an interesting property, it is horse/cowboy themed. The staff was very friendly and helpful, greeted with a free drink and has a small selection of food for convenience. Check-in and out was easy, (fee) parking is easy, located close enough to the beach with a short walk. My room was clean and comfortable.

Noisy, would not go again.
The hotel was ok. The noise was sooo loud all night long. The noise at the bar went on till 1, then there were people in the waiting area all night yelling and partying. The concrete seemed to echo the noise, and no one stopped them. It's hard to sleep with that much noise going on outside your door. The desk people were nice, but they go home by midnight I guess.

Great location in walking distance of Ala Moana Center and numerous beaches. Hotel entrance is up a flight of stairs with no elevator from street level so beware if you have mobility issues or lots of luggage. There is one (slow and small) elevator from lobby to rooms but it is used by guests and housekeeping so waits can be quite long. Large guestroom had comfy beds but bathroom was tiny with a spartan shower. Our room had an underlying smell of mustiness and furnishings were outdated and worn.
