Anyone who has stayed at the Bamboo Hotel knows it's "Zen" like atmosphere that you also will enjoy and be able to relax in the middle of Waikiki. You will be able to use the beautiful pool area which has Hawaiian foliage and a waterfall to remind you that you are in the tropics. You are only 1 and one half blocks to famous Waikiki Beach. You can walk to the beach, zoo, aquarium and all the attractions in Waikiki. The bus stop is across the street where you can get transportation to most any place that you wish to see on the island. There is a tour desk in the lobby where you can get directions and information about tours and other attractions you might want to visit.

The condo has a Queen bed, kitchenette with a cook top, fridge, coffee pot and toaster. You will have TV and free Wifi in your room. Our full bathroom with a tub and shower combination. There is also a closet with hangers for your clothes.

All the dishes and utensils are furnished and all the towels (including Beach Towels) and linens are furnished. The lanai overlooks the lush pool area.

You will truly enjoy your stay in the condo and have a vacation to remember. Subject to availability we'll even lend you a boogie board, and a couple of beach chairs and should you also want snorkel gear (mask and snorkel) we'll happily provide a couple of those for your trip too!

Central and Spacious
This property had everything you need for a comfortable stay in Waikiki. It has a kitchenette with bar fridge, small cook top, microwave, dishes and cutlery. Great for two people. The bed was very comfortable and the lanai was the best as it faced the lovely pool and gardens. The suite is reasonably priced and is showing signs of wear. Would I stay here again. Most definitely. Host was very responsive and answered all questions.

Bamboo Waikiki Stay 2024
This is a great property that we wanted to stay in specifically. The unit overlooks the grotto and pool area, which was perfect for us. The unit has two balconies, so when opening doors there is a wonderful cross wind that we really enjoyed. Everything described was accurate and it was very well maintained.

Clean and convenient but more work
Convenient, nice and clean, and decently equipped but note shortcomings. Parking is essentially non-existent, they noted upon arrival that they have 10 spots for the entire place and in 5 days we were never able to park there. Laundry is shoehorned into a few spots, can be tough, but workable. The pool bar doesn't sell alcoholic drinks and often you have to go find someone to attend it. You would think more of it by looking at the adds.

We just stayed at this property for an extended Valentine's weekend. I could not have asked for a better location, close to the beach and great food places. The bed sucks you in at night, and you get some great sleep after a dip in the pool at night. Thank you Mark & Group, you're all the best.

If you dont want to spend alot on a resort this is a great option. 3 blocks from Waikiki beach. Nice tropical pool view. A little crusty but it had everything we needed.

The Bamboo hotel is not the newest hotel around and it has some wear & tear accumulated through the years, but out room was large, clean, comfortable and well priced. The location was perfect: close to the beach, the shops, restaurants, food markets and the best coffee in Honolulu (Kai caffé). Having a kitchen and a fridge was very useful and walled-friendly. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and the hot tub in the evenings (the pool and the hot-tub were never crowded). I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Hotel needs lots of improvement
Only one working elevator so it took forever to get up and down, the mattress was probably as old as the hotel, when I lifted the sheets the mattress had brown stains on it and it sank on one side, my back was sore after a week of sleeping on it, I saw large dead cockroaches in the the stairwell, the staff was nice and the pool area was really nice, it could be a nice hotel with some renovations. I don’t think I will stay there again.

We enjoyed our time in wakiki. The location was good for walking around. Nice to be close to the water! The hotel is in need of a good cleaning! The elevator's are being worked on, so only 1 was running, which ment sometimes it was a pain waiting on it to come. Also the elevator was really dirty! Never cleaned at all on our whole stay. The floor and doors were very dirty. I was disappointed that we were not able to have the 24 hour water/ coffee that the hotel says they offer. (Due to our rental being an vrbo) the room was decent. Both places to sleep need to be renewed, bed and futon. The room didnt look as the pictures online. Its ALWAYS better to have the pictures accurate, as that is how I pick my rooms. Overall it was a good place to be.

Dirty, run-down room at the Bamboo hotel
This is a room at the Bamboo hotel. The room, like most of rhe hotel, is run down, okd and dingy. It smelled so bad. Carpets are old and look dirty. Only one elevator worked and so we were always waiting for the elevator. Only good thing is that it's close to Waikiki Beach. I will never stay here again.

Great location
Perfect location! Close to all the Waikiki energy. The front desk was friendly and helpful and the room was clean and exactly as advertised. Just a couple blocks from beach and restaurants right out the front door. Love the balcony and the pool area was quiet and chill. They allowed us to bring our own drinks as long as they weren’t in glass.

Nice but...
The bar in the photos is a BYOB bar. Never heard of that. They have food, but no adult drinks. You have to walk to a store to buy them. Very scarce parking which is a theme on Oahu. Centrally located which is nice. Walk to the beach.

Family getaway
The property is beautiful. Benefits of a pool and a hot tub plus a restaurant byob in the evening. Since you are staying in a private room not the actual Hotel, getting fresh daily towels/ beach towels was the only challenge i had. Location was close to the beach shopping restaurants everything was walkable. Would definitely stay again.
