This is a usual review. I had a small cough traveling to and checking into the hotel. About 3 hours later, I became really sick. Confusion, trembling and a mild fever. I checked online and was probably either the flu or COVID. I put on my mask and told them I felt sick and to bring me breakfast outside the door. I got some food and a COVID test kit. It was positive so I spent the next few days in my room. I felt better in a few days. The room was neat and clean but there were no exterior windows and the room was rather small. The staff were nice and did what they could to help me out. So I had several days in an interior room with nothing to do. Kind of a bummer but the hotel’s fault.

I absolutely loved this hotel. The interior is beautiful as all the rooms are subtlety different in decor. Because this is a converted church, there are no outside windows, which might bother some people. However, I found the beds very comfortable, the aircon very responsive and due to the quietness I had a great night’s sleep. The breakfast buffet was very good and the waffles with strawberries were a family favourite. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is central and because of the size of the church, very easy to find your way back to!

This property is in the middle of the town, and is absolutely gorgeous. From the moment you walk through the doors, you feel transported to a different time. The hotel lobby is open and bright with a stunning bar being the centre piece. We stayed on the second floor, the room were comfortable and well designed. Would definitely recommend a visit to Heavens Hotel, if not for a stay, definitely for a lunch on their outside patio.

Great little town hotel, just a little far.
The hotel and town is absolutely stunning. Little awkward with the giant glass as a wall but just close the blinds and it’s no big deal. There is a train that stops in Hoorn, but doesnt run 24hrs. Almost got stuck in town but luckily my server at a restaurant informed me. I’d be back with a little extra planning to make the trek to and from the city.

Mooie lokatie, prachtig hoe een kerk een hotel kan worden. Op de tweede verdieping zijn en een paar kamers waar kamers boven zitten hier hoor je wel mensen de trap oplopen en ‘s morgens de schoonmakers

Unieke locatie, gezellige bar voor een afzakkertje. Nette kamers, we hadden geen raam wat naar buiten keek, of open kan, wel een raam naar de gallerij maar de gordijnen gesloten. Lekkere douche en bad en apart toilet. Gratis update naar deluxe kamer. Super ontbijt met heerlijke dingen. Vers gezet kopje cappucino. Ik miste een make up spiegel.

Insgesamt ein guter Aufenthalt, aber Preis-Leistung passt nicht ganz! Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr zentral und die Fußgängerzone, der historische Hafen sowie die meisten Restaurants und Bars sind nicht weit entfernt. Leider gibt es, aufgrund der Lage, keine hoteleigenen, sondern nur öffentliche und kostenpflichtige Parkplätze, die besonders abends äußerst knapp und teuer sind (max. 1h zu je 3,10). Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, der Empfang herzlich und das Ambiente in der Lobby/Restaurant/Bar ist sehr ansprechend. Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll designed (gemütlich und luxuriös im Industriestil mit viel Glas). Der Einbau der Zimmereinheiten in die große Kirche ist sehr originell. Ich habe mir jedoch "mehr Kirche" vorgestellt. Man sieht auf den Fluren Säulen, die dicken Mauern und die Buntglasfenster. Vor allem aber ist es im Winter auf den Fluren "saukalt". Im Restaurant geht es und im Zimmer kann man es mit max. 23°C schön warm machen. Von unserer gebuchten Suite war ich jedoch enttäuscht. Es entspricht zwar den Abbildungen auf der Website, ist jedoch viel kleiner als gedacht. Den Wohnbeteich kann man zwar vom Schlafbereich durch eine massive Schiebetür trennen, aber es ist alles sehr beengt und es

Echt een heel mooi en bijzonder hotel. Ook de kamers zijn prachtig. Wij hadden een hele donkere kamer wat wij fijn vonden in de ochtend. We misten wel conditioner en een lekkere bodylotion in de badkamer. De wcvloer is heel koud. De waterkoker past eigenlijk niet goed onder de kraan om te vullen. Het ontbijt is goed verzorgd er was zelfs spumante en je kon zelf crepes maken. De american pancakes komen wel uit de verpakking en zijn niet vers, maar je kan wel een lekker eitje laten klaarmaken door de chef. Het oogde heel rustig met veel vrije kamers, maar moesten wel betalen voor late check out en konden helaas niet wat langer gebruik maken van de kamer. Verder een top verblijf gehad!

Nice special place, no outside window, but very big inside window into the beautiful church. We missed floor heating in the bathroom (very cold floor) or a towel to put on the floor, as well for the water from the shower as from te coldness. A place to put your own stuff in the shower would be nice. We had a great experience and love the city of Hoorn.
