Beautiful cabin nestled in tropical surroundings on the Banks of the Sitee River

This amazing cabin, 1 of 3 available, is surrounded by the beautiful, untouched tropical landscape of Belize. Colorful toucans and parrots fly through the treetops. Fish the magnificent Sittee River, directly from your private shoreline. Enjoy a relaxing nap in a hammock hung in the luscious palm trees by the river's edge. Many local Iguanas all the mangroves home. You can hear them hunting along the shoreline. You can stop by one of the local shops and get everything you need to prepare your own meals in our fully equipped kitchen or use the outdoor grill for a barbecue. If you don't feel like cooking, enjoy one of the amazing restaurants in the local town of Hopkins. Upon request, we can provide you with kayaks to explore the river on your own or we can suggest a tour guide for you. We can also provide bicycles for your use during your stay. The locals can be seen biking and walking all over the town. If you have a larger group, reserve all 3 cabins. Unlimited WiFi is provided. Discounts offered for multiple or long-term bookings

Perfect for us
This property was just what we were looking for. Although you can’t swim in the river, listening to the birds, kayaking and sitting in the screened in porch to enjoy the river were great for us. We did rent a car for three of our seven days to go hiking in Mayflower Bocawina NP and drove to Placencia one day. The bikes were great to go to Hopkins and we also walked once. Anthony was great at answering our questions and we bought some groceries and cooked some meals as well as enjoyed local restaurants. Bring cash. There’s only one bank machine and it was broken. Credit cards are fine for restaurants and grocery stores but you need cash for road side stalls. The host was quick to respond to questions as well. Not the place if you’re looking for human nightlife and resorts which is why it worked so well for us!
