Had 2 rooms booked but there was an issue with property and Expedia booking, had a call from property saying did we want to cancel whilst we were on route, with no resolution! Said I would escalate through Expedia, then had a call back 20 mins later saying a twin room was now available instead of the double room, would we agree to that. We had no option so agreed, when I arrived the receptionist who called us was dismissive of it all and then said there was a £10 charge to park at the property, which I asked to waive due to the issues however, he said no chance, asked him to speak with manager but he said no because he would be sleeping and that the room situation was fixed so that was it, I was not impressed, he was not very welcoming to say the least! As the rooms were being issued the manager called and I spoke to him about the situation, was much better, apologised and offered free parking for the 5 hours we were there, not a great experience, manager fixed but the rest, not great. The price is reasonable for the rooms but fridges are noisy and there were insects on ceiling as the windows were open, if u need somewhere cheap to stay over, it is ok but not great experience for us
