This three bedroom Victorian cottage has two sitting rooms, large well equipped kitchen, and a private garden (ideal for alfresco dining). The village shops are a mile away. It is in close proximity to the market town of Horsham and 30 minutes to the coast. The downs Link is half a mile away and there are golf courses and lovely walks nearby. The are many country pubs and restaurants in the area including fine dining.

Belle location, trĂšs spacieuse. Nous n'a avons sĂ©journĂ© qu'une nuit et n'avons pas pu apprĂ©cier tout l'Ă©quipement. Endroit trĂšs calme parfait pour se relaxer. Petit bĂ©mol: la baignoire/douche sz trouve dans la mĂȘme piĂšce que la douche. Pas pratique lorsqu'on est Ă  3 couples.

Home away from home

Really well equipped home with all that we needed. The house accommodated our group of six adults very comfortably. Spotlessly clean in an end of lane quiet and pretty area. We’re very happy to highly recommend Birchwood Cottage.

Lovely house in a quiet remote location

Our family were attending a wedding nearby. The house was exactly as described. Rooms were great. Very comfy beds! There was 1 bathroom upstairs with a shower, bath and toilet and 1 toilet downstairs. The lounge had plenty of sofa space. Also a lovely big kitchen. We were able to use the garden furniture on the sun trap patio. Shopping parade was a 5-10 minute drive away. Everyone loved their stay at the property and we would thoroughly recommend a group of 6-8 people having a stay here.

A beautiful cottage

The cottage was a perfect base for our family for our son’s wedding nearby. It has been renovated to a high standard and is clearly much loved by the owner who lives next door. There was enough outdoor space and lovely garden furniture. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Lovely cottage in the country

We stayed for three nights after a week in busy London and it was the perfect stay in the country. Roomy and cozy and had everything we needed. We visitors family nearby and my kids already can’t wait to go back!

Horsham stay

Lovely cottage, clean, tidy and spacious. Single beds in property not suitable for teenagers. We had to reinforce the slats as they were very thin plywood and not attached properly to the bed frame. Many of the flimsy attachments were broken or missing on one bed. Overall however a good location and well presented cottage.

This cottage was exceptionally clean and has all that one would want or need (except a log fire!). It is spacious, attractive, well-appointed and in a lovely area - wonderfully quiet and secluded.

We enjoyed staying at the property. We only had 2 adults and 1 child (aged 16) staying so this was ideal but there were enough bedrooms for many more people. We made good use of the conservatory in the evenings to relax. The area is very quiet with only a few houses at the end of a long country road (1 mile). There are many walks that can be done from the house and the Country Park and Downs Link (cycle, horse, walking trail) are only about 1 mile away. We went to Knepp (rewilding), Hove and Chichester and many NT gardens whilsy staying. Overall a great holiday.

Pictures Hideaway

We used the week away before our daughters wedding having our other family over from Ireland with 2 children and Granddad from South Africa. It was relaxed atmosphere and beautiful walks in the nearby forrest.Fantastic! We had lovely days and evenings out on the decked area with seating for all. Yes we had a full house of happy visitors. All the property was well stocked clean and fresh. Everything was there provided. Tv and tv games. The shops are closeby and Crawley not to far away for bigger shops if preferred. The CO/OP is just around the corner. CONS. Every holidays has some things that can help to better your stay. We were prewarned about the internet but in todays world , the kids and all of us like to be connected better to have online TV and games to keep the occupied when we can relax and have some timeout. SKY is availabe but we were not told to bring viewing card so now we need to entertain the kids. The lovely garden is fenced off with a swing and slide enviting the kids but no we were told on request it is not safe. So limited space for kids to play. Though outside the immediate yard is a big area for the kids to run around under supervision. After all this NO complaints. It was a wonderful and would recommend this to everyone that need a little tranquil time away from it all.

Relaxing near Horsham

The property was very well maintained and really relaxing to be in. We did have a problem with the front garden gate and one of our party cut her finger quite badly when she unlatched the gate. However, all in all the property was very clean and had everything we needed. Thank you for a lovely stay.
