Girls trip
It was not very clean. It’s old but that’s fine. Bathrooms need new shower curtains, they were moldy. Floor tiles were broken in bathroom. Most importantly BEDBUGS were in the upstairs bedroom. Do not rent!!!!

Not clean!
Terrible communication from the owner. Would not respond to messages. I had customers check in to this property, there was a refrigerator being delivered while they checked in. No heads up from the owner. Mattress covers were not clean. Bathtubs were dirty.

This is a great venue for our family to get together. The large great room looks out over the pool and is perfect for game playing while the kids swim.

House needs cleaned! Towels were in laundry for us to wash/dry. Lighting on exterior entry doesn’t work and is dangerous. Lots of light switches to nothing. Christmas decorations still on display. Internet password didn’t work. We tried to contact owner with no response. Great location for races.

Historic hot springs
The house was nice but it was not clean. Two kitchens and very little pots pans and utensils. 5 forks for 8 people. Lighting in house was very dim. Commode upstairs dirty. Sheets in large bedroom smelled of mildew. Glass door in back doesn’t lock. No extra toilet paper paper towels and compactor bags. Carpet smelled as well as drapes. The house needs some upgrades urgently. Not sure how it is a Vrbo rental.

Communication was NOT key with this host. We had to leave the premises after a ONE night stay due to bed bugs being found in one of the rooms, and a guest w/ me who was bit by one as well. I did not receive a response back from the host about possibly getting a refund until SUNDAY around 12:45 am (which I have not received and have spoke with VRBO numerous times as well) The door from the pool to inside the main living room did not lock - there was a latch, but you could push it in from the outside. There was a vehicle outside of the house when we got there, but it was gone when we got back from touring downtown. Also, very minimal supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, etc)

Location great - we walked to Oaklawn Cleanliness need improvement overall - bathrooms Outdoor space was nice - the lighting outside was not working. Pool was great visual & in season would add to the experience We used the charcoal grill & cooked in the house as well Large space for gather & socializing

Doors don't lock - No key or box lock when you leave
While the location was perfect for everything we did, we never felt completely safe at the house. We had no way to lockup before we headed out each day and one of the pool doors would not lock. I spoke to the owner, he was going to send a handyman who never showed up and the owner never called me back. I tried to reach him before my review, but he did not answer then either. We talked about going back, but I would not stay here again.

Huge Place
Plenty of room for a large family or group of friends. The pool is a bonus and beautiful. The amenities were lacking. We had to go buy toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.

Family getaway
We planned a family trip for our family ages 6 months to 85. 4 generations. The children loved!!!!!the pool. The rooms were spacious, kitchen was large enough to move around in and had most of the items we needed. The washer and dryer really came in handy for the group. The candles were a nice touch which added a sense of home to the trip. Everyone said it was a great trio mostly because of the house. We may use it again. Close to shopping, grocery store and restaurants. Great for family getaway.

Our family stay was from June 29- July 2, 2023. I am going to list the things that prevented us from rating this place with five stars. Cons: 1.Grass was not cut/manicured which made mosquitoes worse by pool area. 2. Upstairs Bed Broken and not made 3. Bath towel were kitchen dish towels 4. Too mush dust 5. All artificial flowers gives vibe of funeral home in living room. 1. My recommendation would be get rid of beds and replace with headboards or wall art. (Mattresses are fine). 2. Get rid of artificial flowers and some gothic candles holders and unnecessary trinkets and things. 3. Keep grass cut at all times.

Ruined my Birthday
So I booked this property about a month or so ago. I emailed the host twice asking if the pool would be available. I didn’t hear anything from the host. I drove to Hot Springs with my family (10) of us. We pull up to the house and noticed a car in the driveway. I went up and rang the doorbell. Just to find out that the host double booked the house with a guy off another site. He totally ruined my birthday weekend. He did refund me, but if I was pressed about the money, I wouldn’t have booked the home. This was a total embarrassment for me. We had to turn around and drive right back home because it was a holiday weekend and we couldn’t find anywhere else to stay. I’m still ticked off with the host. Stay as far away from this host as you can. Very very very unprofessional!!

Great location and plenty of space!
We stayed at this property for my wife’s birthday and had a large group stay. The location of this was amazing as we were able to just walk to the casino/racetrack whenever we wanted! There’s tons of room on the inside and outside so we never felt on top of each other either. With two fridges we had plenty of space to store snacks or drinks! My only suggestion at this time would be to purchase new mattresses/bed frames for all the rooms. All the beds felt extremely worn in.from what our group discussed but we still loved staying there. For the price and location you can’t beat it!
