When I got there didn’t take long checking in and the lady at the desk was nice. But when I checked out I wanted a receipt and the man gave me one, but said he couldn’t put the amount on it because he just couldn’t. Which I found to be weird. I’ve always got receipts and I had amount on them. I don’t understand why he couldn’t put it on there. They gave me a certain amount and tell me what it was going to be and then they couldn’t give me a receipt for the amount. But other than that it was all good.

wonderfully pleasant surprise
Motels have a reputation of being run-down and un-kept, but this was a pleasant surprise! The front desk staff lady was so friendly and helpful, and gave us a map of how to get downtown to see the historic buildings. The room was updated and clean, the beds nice and firm, the coffee maker had cups and condiments, etc. The breakfast was decent for the family: toast, cereal, coffee, juice, oatmeal, muffins, bagles, etc.... unless you are diabetic/low carb: there are no protein options available, not even boiled eggs.

This was a last minute, spring break trip for my 2 kids and myself, so we were on a budget. We hope to go back to hot springs this summer, and will be staying here again! The staff was so friendly, the rooms were clean, and the breakfast was great, and had plenty of options

The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom were clean. I could hear everything on both sides of my room. From loud guys on one side to some remarkably loud and vulgar women on the other. This is no fault of the inn keepers but it kept me up all night long. I used ear plugs for the next night.

Overall the property was fine and the room was clean on arrival. I checked out in the morning and everything was fine. When I got back home that evening, I noticed bed bug bites all over my legs. Please make sure to check your beds for bed bugs before handing the key to the customer. For this reason I give it 2 stars as it has caused me a great deal of discomfort for several days now.

Check in and check out was easy. Although the room was a good size and clean, the location was sketchy. Our room smelled terrible - not sure if it was the room or the chain smoking employee in her car outside our room. Breakfast was available, but the tiny room was so cramped it was difficult to get to the food. The listing shows it as a 10 minute walk to the park. While it’s not walkable, it was just a short drive to downtown and the park.

Great hotel and value
This hotel was clean, comfortable, and well kept. The service was very good. The continental breakfast had a good selection and area was kept very clean and well stocked. Hotel was very convenient. This was an excellent value.

Wonderful quiet getaway
Obviously this is an older hotel, it was extremely well maintained and cleaned. I’ve paid much more for rooms and this by far exceeded any of those. The breakfast was nice also, waffles, cereal, juices, fresh coffee. Overall a very nice stay, only issue we had with anything is parking is very tight.

Says it is a pet friendly hotel but never said in the description that you have to pay $30 extra for your dog. I’ve stayed at other hotels on this trip and none of them charged extra so I was very surprised to have to pay when I arrived
