Nice older hotel, very clean. Staff was friendly. No fitness room on the premises. however. We were told it was 1/2 mile away across a bridge. Also, snowmobiles were very loud outside our room, and that continued until midnight!

Staff was friendly, room was very clean, right by the bridge. Pool and hot tub area very, no strong chemical smell. Only drawback was no bar/restaurant like advertised on hotel booking site.

This motel is in an area that is tricky to get to. Also, for a 2 story motel they do NOT have an elevator. This makes it difficult to get your luggage up stairs

It was clean, beds were comfortable, the night staff when we checked in was friendly and got us checked in quickly. The breakfast was good, my kids liked that they had individually wrapped donuts and jimmy dean breakfast sandwiches. We didn't use the pool or any other amenities.

Unhappy in Hancock
Tried to check in a little after 3 pm check in was at 3. They said my room was not ready yet they said they had a housekeeper call in and they were running behind. Yet there were four people behind the counter and I was the only customer that was there. You would think that if they were running behind one of the four behind the desk could have stepped up and helped out with the cleaning. I asked if every room was dirty because there was very few cars in the parking lot. The hotel is not convienent to anything. If you are going to this area stay in Houghton not Hancock. The hotel was clean but the location made it not ideal.

The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable. The staff were so friendly and courteous. Would definitely recommend, although it was a bit difficult to find.
