Stayed here for a fishing weekend and it was perfect! About a mile from the boat launch and the place had everything we needed. Plenty of room for parking with the boat and all the amenities we needed for a great weekend of fishing.

Higgins Lake Visit
We used this as our place to sleep and shower while visiting family at the south Higgins state park campgrounds on the Halloween camping weekend. It was exactly what we needed for a place to lay our heads at night. It was clean and comfortable and nicely decorated.

Stay at Houghton Lake
This property was the perfect spot for my fiancé and I on a relaxing weekend getaway! Everything about our stay was easy and communication with the hosts was great. Our room was incredibly cozy and had everything we needed. Our room and the place as a whole was so cute and well-decorated, I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area!

Cute and Cozy and Welcoming
We stayed with our 2 young children and dog to go to Roscommon Zoo and have a little getaway. The owners were easily available for questions. The common areas were very comfortable and the outside hangout was really enjoyable. It felt secluded with surrounding woods which was extra relaxing. My 4 year old loved running down the hall and they even left treats for our dog :)

This property was perfect for our visit with family in Houghton Lake. The property was very safe, yet easy for us to come and go as we pleased. The rooms and common areas were clean and very nicely decorated for a lake vacation. There were very thoughtful, unexpected amenities, such as, Roku TV and lamps with phone chargers in the room. Lots of outlets, as well. There were also snacks, water and coffee, microwave and mini fridge in the common area. The outdoor gathering area with seating, games and a grill were a great bonus! The host left a list of great things to do in the area that we can confirm are great. Wonderful family vacation!
