A good place to stay in Houma
I was especially impressed with the friendly way thatvivwascgreeted by both hosts. They assured me that they were available if I needed anything. I was surprised that there wasn't a coffee maker in my room. Otherwise, the room was a good value in todays market, especially for the Houma area.

The hotel on expedia said it had a pool. After I checked in and paid, I was told there was no pool. They said they refunded my money but its been 2 days and the transaction still says pending. Staff was great; advertisement on Expedia is wrong. My kids need the pool!

False advertising
The site on hotels.com and on hotel website lists this hotel has a pool. It does not. False advertising. When i inquired about it they stated they have not had a pool in over a year. I was there 9 months ago and they did. The front desk personnel stated i need to dpeak to the GM but did not give me his/her name or contact. When i asked another front desk staff member why they havent taken it off all sites, again I was directed to GM. Asked for contact info. I was given a name but no number or email. Hotels.com should be verifying amenities of hotels on their sites.
