Although there were some good things about my stay at this BW - convenience to shopping across the street, spacious room, friendly and responsive front desk service, good parking, relatively quiet and a very good breakfast spread - the main drawback was sub par room prep and cleanliness. The bed was not properly made and the room only felt barely clean and sanitary. Cleaning and prepping a room are not difficult tasks with the right training. I hope improved training and quality control in this area will be monitored closely going forward.

This was a just need a room for the night due to needing surgery early in the morning situation. Can’t tell you much on the outside. As for the staff the girl running the desk was polite and accommodating, she was extremely apologetic for the issues we had, so can’t fault her. Once the misses and I had go the key and went to room number 1 the lock mechanism didn’t work with either keys( even went to have them programmed again), the staff assigned ins a different room as she saw on the camera that we were still having the issue. Room number 2, keys work, but once inside the room was never cleaned, bed not made, trash in the can, etc. Once we got the 3rd room, I guess the third times the charm” saying is true, because we have success. The room was nice and clean, and plenary of room. Now like I said this was just a bed for an early morning surgery, so didn’t do much.

The positive: The man working when we checked in was very friendly, helpful and professional. The negative: pubic hairs in the wash clothes and shower wall. The pillows are litterally toddler sized.

The room assigned to us had few dirty upholstery and the latch to bathroom door did not close. Microwave was dingy and had no coffee machine.

For three nights, the smoke detector in the hallway chirped all night despite being reported multiple times. On two separate days I needed to request bath towels as none were left. The breakfast area ran out of coffee leds. These are are simple managerial responsibilities to provide guidance, training, and adequate inventory. These details are important for guests.

The hot water does not work. Used bars of soap and hair everywhere. Manager Joaquin said he would document everything so i could receive a refund through hotels.com. Hotels.com said there is nothing they could do.

Good but shower and hot water need work
While I was able to get checked into my room fairly easily. I was a bit frustrated with the shower/bath. I waited 10 minutes for hot water that never did come and when I initially turned on the water some brown did come out of the spout which did put me off. I ended up not showering just because of the initial brown I saw.

This property was excellent, the room was comfortable and clean and well maintained. The breakfast was good. Had a nice variety, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again and probably will.
