They do NOT offer self parking and charge $50 for valet. This is not mentioned and had I known prior to booking I would not have booked here. As far as the hotel, it was very disappointing. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice, but... LOTS of little things... The carpet was stained and worn, the lights didn't all work, the dimmer switch was broken. The Glasses by the bathroom sink smelled of toothpaste, which tells me they didn't wash them between guests. There was only one drinking glass (double room), the fridge was very loud (I had to unplug). The coffee in the lobby was absolutely horrible (the hospital coffee was much better!). I'm probably forgetting a few more things. I was expecting more.

Only glitches.. no milk in entire hotel for coffee & when the Valet pulled up this morning, he pulled up the wrong car after giving him my valet ticket! That sent me back 10 minutes as I was heading to the airport. I barely miss my flight.

I love the bathroom design. Some of the room lights did not work. The water temperature in the bathroom was not hot enough. The valet parking was very unorganized. If it was not for valet parking, I would have given them 4 stars overall. It is a very beautiful hotel and I would not mind staying there again if they can turn up the water temperature.

No hotel is perfect, but the Blossom Hotel is the closest to perfection my wife and I have ever had the pleasure to stay at.. luxurious accommodations, friendly and helpful staff, great location, coupled with outstanding dining makes this hotel “ the best hotel for the money “ in Houston.. it’s a 9.8 on the ratings scale..

The Blossom Hotel Houston is beautiful, and the staff was friendly and helpful for the most part. There was a rattling noise in the air vent that made it hard to sleep well, and we had trouble having additional toilet paper delivered to our room when our initial supply ran out. The valet "misplaced" our travel companions' car for a short time.
