The tv was messed up and it took a little while to get it fixed. Then the sink overflowed and little hairs came out and floated around until it finally drained. The rooms were so small and outdated . However the staff was great but the property not what I expected for the price .

The staff is absolutely amazing- super pleasant and very helpful. The rooms are a bit dated and the bathroom could use a deep cleaning, but the bed was clean and comfortable so the most important needs were met. The free bottled water was a huge win.

This is where we stay everytime we go to Houston. It’s always clean and it’s in a convenient location. They also have complimentary water available in the hallways and lobby which is a huge plus.

This was a great boutique style hotel. It is an older building so the rooms are smaller and somewhat oddly laid out (compared to new hotels) but it has a charm that you cannot match in a newer hotel. I loved the automated check-in and check-out processes which worked flawlessly for me. The location is fantastic for walkable dining options as long as you are heading out at or before 6pm -- a bunch of the restaurants nearby close at 8pm which was a shocker for me. I would also recommend the valet parking if you have a rental car. There is no lot attached to the hotel so you can self-park if you want, but as someone not from Houston (or the USA) I didn't feel comfortable trying to find a parking spot on my own. The system they have is excellent where you simply text a code to a number and they then retrieve the car and bring it to the front doors of the hotel. Overall it was a great place to stay when exploring downtown Houston.

My check in went well. The gentleman was friendly and helpful. However when I went to the room, it was dusty, I noticed that while looking for the remote for the TV… it was as if the room was recently painted and it was paint splintered throughout the room… white specs everywhere. There was someone else hair on the bathroom floor. After no answer to the service desk, I eventually when back downstairs to request a remote. Someone came to my room with a remote only to be told after trying to turn on the TV now with the remote to be told that NONE of the TVs were working in the entire hotel. They had recently changed their provider😳 I put towels on the carpet to walk around the room….maybe if the TV worked, I wouldn’t have noticed the brown stained ceilings.
