Construction Makes It Challenging
Overall, the stay was fine. However, I was disappointed that the area around the property was under construction making it very accessible unfriendly for anyone with a disability. The staff did try to make accommodations, but valet and parking outside of the hotel was unsatisfactory. Due to construction, valet was a block down the street meaning that you had to walk a block in the rain with your luggage to get to the hotel entrance. The same is true for self-park. It rained my entire stay. As someone who has a walking disorder, it was very challenging, and I had no forewarning that this would be the scenario.

Staycation was Great - I'll Be Back!
Initially, they put me in the wrong room but they were very quick and friendly about rectifying it and getting me to the deluxe suite I reserved. I forgot the young man's name at the front desk, but he was great (he wears glasses). Nada, my waitress at the 806 Lounge/Restaurant, was amazing, friendly, and very attentive. She was great! My spa session was the best I've had compared to some other places and they really rolled out the red carpet for me.

Great location in downtown Houston. Underground shopping and plenty of eateries. Hotel staff is fantastic. Our room was very spacious and very comfortable beds as well. Thank you Jose, Marcos and Michelle.
