Not great. The price was good. But the new owners clearly you’re not investing in the property lots of damage, broken tiles drywall that deeds patching. Hairdryer not mounted, front desk didn’t care. Sink and tub didn’t drain. There is a coffee machine provided with no cups when I asked the lady told me to use the flimsy plastic cups for water. I don’t think she understood the concept of heat. I’ll stay elsewhere next time, so should you.

A Disappointing Stay
I recently stayed at the Sonesta Essential Houston Westchase from November 7th to 10th, 2023, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon check-in, I was assigned to room 323, which immediately presented a series of issues. The room had no hot water, damaged flooring that led to a minor injury, and a non-functional television. After notifying the front desk, I was eventually moved to room 311 the following day. While the second room was an improvement, it still fell short of expectations. The water temperature remained consistently low, and the room was not adequately cleaned, with items left behind by previous guests. Additionally, a detached fire alarm posed a significant safety hazard. The guest services staff was generally kind, but the physical condition of the rooms and the lack of timely resolution to the issues were unacceptable. I would strongly advise potential guests to consider other accommodations in the area. I requested that the property manager reach out to me directly to discuss potential compensation for the inconveniences and discomfort experienced during my stay. Unfortunately, after contacting Sonesta directly, I was informed that no discount or partial refund would be provided. Book at your own risk.

This place was nice before . But now .. im been there 3 time back is terrible . When i deposit by cash. They didn't pay me back when i was forgor and run back home with hurricane . Second time i came they said .. adter 24 hours they not gonna refun my $100 deposit . Now 3 time the toilet floors was broken .. room was dirty .. pillows was wet .. and stink .. staff dont want to answer u question.. and the room $100 with no breakfast like they was used to ... its terrible service ..and hotel .. that's why just only my car in parking lot. .lol... they will be shut down soon ..

The staff was friendly. Overall the place was clean, but there was mold in front of the AC on the curtains and in the bathroom. And the keycards would not work FREQUENTLY. I had to switch the cards out every day.
