Property is great and the amenities and snacks that are complimentary were great. However they only checked me in almost at 4PM and only because I went to ask how far they were with my room and check in time is at 3! Did not offer me even a glass of water or anything while I was waiting. The staff is rude! And overall not a great stay…. I would not be here again

The Lancaster is a lovely classic property. Immaculate and service-oriented. The rooms are quite small but very comfortable with all the amenities and more. We will stay again for sure.

Love the quietness of the room and extra amenities from robe/slippers, free snacks/drinks, and delicious breakfast buffet to extremely accommodating and kind staff, the Lancaster feels luxurious. Wish we had gotten the extra VIP/room upgrade Expedia said.

This is such a beautiful property. The location is wonderful, right in the heart of the art district and walkable to restaurants, shows, and street art. The amenities are great!- breakfast, gym, in room snacks and nespresso coffee, on site art gallery, and welcome Champagne. I am marking them down because you can hear everything in the room. There was a car alarm that went off for 2 or more hours and it was from the valet parking area. It went off so long that my brain made it a permanent sound. You could also hear the showers from other rooms, doors closing, everything. It was so terrible that I did not get a good night of sleep and I woke up with a headache. If I do stay again I would bring my noise machine and/or earplugs.

The hotel is stunning! It is walking distance to many of the downtown events. The staff were very attentive and engaging. There was an issue with the chain in the toilet tank and I reported it, within 10 minutes someone came to fix it. The bar was lovely, we ended each evening there with a nightcap. I highly recommend this hotel.

We celebrated our 18th anniversary at The Lancaster Hotel and it was an unforgettable experience! Our room was elegant and comfortable, and the on-site restaurant served an exquisite dinner that we thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel’s location was ideal for exploring the area, making it easy to enjoy nearby attractions. Great hotel - the location (close to theaters, restaurants), the staff was helpful and friendly, the hotel is beautiful and the amenities offered go above and beyond most hotels. Definitely making this a regular stay when we are downtown.

I would have gladly given all excellent and 5 stars but the air conditioning is super load and comes on for a few minutes it seemed like off and on all night long. The fan makes a lot of noise. Thankfully the room stayed cool but it was very loud and hard to sleep

It was a really amazing stay! The room was clean and relaxing. The music coming from the Houston Symphony building just outside our room was very soothing! Complimentary breakfast bar was amazing! Can’t wait to stay here again!
