The owner knows the history of Taiwan and the area. He is a wonderful person to meet. The place is so well put together. It even includes a pond with large koin carp (goldfish). The breakfast is very good. There are bicycles to ride should you so wish. We chose to ride!
Wow!!! What a find. The owner, his wife and staff were so welcoming and made our trip so enjoyable. The grounds were calming, and the rooms big bright and comfy. The location is so close to Taroko National Park we were able to enjoy their fantastic breakfast, beat the crowds, get a full day of hiking and exploring the breathtaking park, and get back to the best shower I’ve ever had before heading to the Dongdamen night market. Best two nights of our entire 10 days on the island.

.The Crossing the Rainbow Bridge has an Excellent location to the entrance of Taroko National Park by riding a bicycle for about 10 minutes.
.The staff prepared a delicious breakfast with excellent coffee.
The owner’s warm welcome with personal greetings to every lodger in the morning.
We had the front bedroom , unfortunately there was a strong smell of some type of cleaning fluid upon entering the room - it smelt like moth balls - I ended up with headache and sore throat whilst in the room.
There was noise from very busy road at the front - book at the back if you need quiet.
I didn’t have breakfast but other half said it wasn’t that great.
You can walk to Taroko Gorge visitors centre but it’s a good 40 min walk, owner has free bikes for those who want to use them.
Laundry needed payment.
Young cleaning girl was a joy - very happy young lady who works very hard.
Just over half hour walk to 7/11
Wi-Fi was good, plenty of hot water, nice garden
Best stay in Taiwan so far! The owner and staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, and the rooms are very clean. Would recommend staying here to anyone.
What a lovely little inn, right at the road that leads right into Taroko Gorge.
The service at this little B&B is amazing. The breakfast included is a lovely home cooked meal, I felt nourished and prepped for any hike at the Gorge.
The room is minimal yet spacious, and extremely clean and well-maintained. The bathroom includes a bidet, which is so nice.
The grounds, while right next to the main road, is nestled peacefully at the base of the mountainside. The water from koi pond is very lovely to listen to when having breakfast!
I highly recommend.
Awesome location, right at the entrance of Taroko National park. Room was clean and comfy. Room has AC/heater.
We were upgraded from the regular family room to family room with a large outdoor bathtub in the patio. The bathtub fit our family of 4 nicely. The landscape made it feel very private. Such a nice way to relax after a long day.
Breakfast was simple but delicious. Fresh rice porridge, and several side dishes to go with. For a western option, there is toast and a yummy raisin and nut sliced baguette bread. The sparkling honey lime water was a nice touch. There is also tea and coffee.
The B&B also help connect us to a wonderful tour guide for a whole day. Our guide, Xiao-Dai (小戴) was very knowledgable. With 2 kids under 6, it was great having a professional drive us to the family friendly trails and showed us the must see spots. He is also a great photographer! We have many family photos to remember the trip by.
Owner took time to greet us, teach us about the area and about the culture of the Taroko people. Speaks English, Mandarin and Taroko. Highly recommend.
owner very welcoming, sits down to share history of the area and the native people with each guest. Speaks English, willing to help arrange transportation (eg. taxi, etc) if needed. Bikes provided for local touring. Beautiful grounds, close to Taroko national park and beautiful coastline.
The place is nice and quiet and very near to taroko national park. The room is spacious and clean with everything you need. can cycle to nearby food places and to taroko and bicycles are provided by the owner. The owner is very nice and sweet gentleman.
This hotel is located just outside the entrance of Taroko National Park, they also provide free parking which is only few steps away from the room.
Importantly this hotel gives you a very plesant homestay, as the owner is extremely friendly he introduced us a few things about Taroko culture and history, later I found out that he's Truku (Taroko tribe people) and that explains...
He also sang us a song in Truku language, the experience was wonderful.
Highly recommend to anyone who needs a stay before departing to Taroko Gorge.
The place was very clean and the owner was extremely welcoming. Our room was big and in good condition, definitely good for families or people looking for a place to stay to explore Taroko National Park.
It was amazing. The owner is so friendly and helpful. He is there every morning to greet you. The staff are awesome, friendly and Are a huge asset for this nice BB. Its only 2.6 km away from the entrance of the taroko park. I rented a scooter which the owner recommended and it was awesome. I highly recommend, and would encourage everyone to go here if planning a trip. Hello from Guam!
Modern B&B in beautiful setting close to Taroko national park. Generous breakfast in Asian style. Host very accommodating in calling taxis, supplying bicycles, supplying map of local area with restaurants highlighted. Would stay again if I am return to the national park. Definitely not much night life in the local area, but beautiful area worth seeing.
Had a really pleasant stay during a solo trip to Taroko. Teyra and his daughter were super nice and offered rides to/from the nearby Xincheng TRA Station (only 1h50m and about NT$ 400 from Songshan TRA). This is pretty much the closest you can get to staying in the park without camping— I ran into the park twice and rode in once using one of the bikes you can borrow. Both the famous Xiaozhuilu/Shakadang trails and the Eternal Spring Sprine are super close. The breakfast feast was amazing! Great homebase for a trip to Taroko!
