The Manager Starla gives poor quality service, which is unfortunate. I called before checking in as I would be arriving after midnight and asked about a late checkout. Was told that it would be noted for me. When I arrived, another person did the check in and reminded them about my late checkout. Neither individual mentioned that the hotel charges additional for a late checkout, which they only provide 1 additional hour (12pm). The room I was initially given was very moist even with the AC being set to 70 and the room smelled strongly of mold. It was very noticeable. The front desk called Starla and she told them that I would have to pay an additional $25+ for another room because it cost more. When I repeated that the change was because of the condition of the room and not any other reason, then the "upcharge" was waived. The next day houskeeping told me at 11:10am that I would be charged an additional $15 per hour for checking out late, which was not disclosed by either representative. I spoke directly with Starla, her response was, "We can't verbally tell you every little thing. You signed for it when you checked it." Keep in mind the signing pad does not show you anything and I was never given a copy of the terms until I checked out. Everything was verbally communicated. I left immediately and was out of the room by 11:15am and Starla charged my card the late checkout fee w/o my verbal consent. I reported her to Corporate. Also, room curtains are see through mesh....
