Big disappointment after I enjoyed other Home2 locations. Upon arrival, there were so many items missing in the room, we had to go and request for them one by one. Obvious they didn’t check the room before check-in. Items like shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, plates, cups and tissue paper were missing, those are very basic items. The fridge door were placed on the wrong side as well, so we had to open the doors in a narrow gap between the main door and the fridge! We booked for a week, they supposed to have house keep every other day, however, they said they were short of staff and only came once. Even when I requested to just take away the dirty towels and refill, they were not willing to do so at first, and not unapologetic at all.
Then comes the breakfast time, I have no expectation of the food, but the time of the breakfast was ridiculous, 630 am to 930 am!!! other Home2 I’ve been to offer 830 to 1100. How would one get up, especially for young kids, at 630 for breakfast? Why did they do that? To lower the food cost? Since there are a couple good spots nearby, no one cares? Then why include breakfast at the first place?
Last but not least, the swimming pool closing staff was quite unfriendly. The closing time is 11pm, he came by at 10:40 and get everyone out. I asked if should leave in 10 min since those were young kids, we needed to give them leeway, he said no, we needed to go “now”, since he had sparkle cleaning powder and go home, which only took him one minute!
