“Joy in the Morning” is designed for comfort, outfitted for fun, equipped for relaxation, and conveniently located with a large private association beach at the end of the street. (Beach pass is provided.)
There are two living areas so adults and kids can have their own spaces. The two full bathrooms never make you feel crowded. Catch the morning sunrise on the front patio or gather out back for sunset al fresco dining or a late night fire.
Take advantage of the provided beach gear, board games, tennis, pickleball and 1/2 basketball court, softball field, bikes, a kayak, hammock, firepit, grill.
Within walking/biking distance is a gas station, Marconi’s Restaurant, Dairy Queen, Drug Mart, IGA, Civista Bank, The Gym, Berardi’s, The Sandbar, the public boat launch, the lighthouse and pier, multiple little free libraries, and an eagle's nest. Also nearby is Cedar Point, Sports Force Park, Cedar Point Sports Center, Huron River Public boat launch & fish-cleaning station, (great perch & walleye fishing), Fabens Park and Kalahari. My personal favorite is the large, private, sandy beach at the end of the street. (The beach is NOT Nickel Plate which is a public beach. You will have access to Old Homestead No. 1 Private Association beach during your stay.)
