It wouldn’t be a bad place to stay if it was just 4 of us. The 3 beds that are ‘upstairs’ are just mattresses on the floor. There is no air conditioning in the ‘loft’ so the boys couldn’t sleep up there (it was in the high 80s-mid 90s during the day) even with the air conditioners downstairs set to 71 it was too hot in the loft to sleep up there. The stairs to the loft are super steep and the entry way is about 2 1/2-3 ft high so it was hard for me, even being 5 ft 2, to get into the loft. If you intend to have a party of all adults I wouldn’t recommend this cabin, but if you go in cooler weather and with kids that can climb stairs well then I would recommend it. It was clean, well furnished for it being a rented out cabin, and only about a 20-25 min drive to Broken Bow Lake and Hochatown. And about a 10 min drive to a Walmart and grocery store. There was our own picnic table and fire pit so that was nice. Over all it was worth the stay I guess, I was just really disappointed in the ‘sleeps 8’ part, when 3 of the ‘beds’ (mattresses on the floor) weren’t even usable due to no air conditioning and one of the boys had to sleep on the couch when I paid a lot of $$$ for us all to have a bed. Also, there were no lights on down at the pool the first 2 nights of our stay even though it’s supposed to be open til 10 or 11. I called the first night and got no answer, and the second day I called again and was told they would have someone come out the following morning to turn the lights on by the pool for our last night. So the kids were pretty bummed about that too. Good thing they were able to swim in the cold river to make up for it. Like I said, it wasn’t a bad place to stay, it just wasn’t really advertised as well as it could have been, and the pool was one of the reasons I picked these cabins and the boys couldn’t even swim in the evenings when we got back to the cabin because there was no lights
