Great location
The room was clean and comfortable. Very rustic. It had most things necessary to use. I would have liked a broom and dustpan to sweep floor. It had a jacuzzi tub but didn’t use it. Right across from the lit Christmas trees and easy to walk all over town.

Such a good stay! The Inn is in the middle of town so you can walk every where. The people at the front desk were always so welcoming and accommodating. They have dvd’s to borrow for your stay which made the slow nights fun!

Close to everything in town
The cabin was a newer studio setup with a King bed and a pullout sofa. The great thing about the cabin is that it is right in the middle of town - once parked by the room, I don’t think we moved our car once. The sleeping arrangements were exactly what we expected - a comfy King bed and a pull out couch that my 6yo seemed to enjoy. The difficulty is that with the studio setup, there really isn’t seating to just hang out in the room in the evening. The sofa is really setup only for sleeping (otherwise you’re seated in a sofa, staring at a wall) and the desk and chair are really only setup up to be facing the wall. Don’t get me wrong, I really enjoyed the cabin. Next time, we’d ask for the same place and just bring our portable camp table. I think that could work out enough to make everything just the right size.

We absolutely loved our room. We stayed in the French Country room and it was so cozy! Everything was so convenient. We walked everywhere. Walked to the local market, walked to the restaurants, walked next door for coffee, walked a mile to the other coffee shop. The town is so charming and the people are so friendly. Can’t wait to come back. A big thank you to Lisa for all her help and to Terry for the warm welcome when we checked in. We had a wonderful 26th anniversary! Thank you.

Best place to stay in Idyllwild
This place is perfection - the service is truly unbeatable, they are so authentic and helpful and our cabin was a 1934 original that kept all its charm and "bones" but was upgraded for every comfort with luxury beds and kitchen and bath fixtures - the location is perfect and the price was way less than I think they could charge for a place this nice - would give them more stars if i could.

Wonderful room we stayed in. It was simply elegant and reminiscent of a room from a by gone era complete with bookshelves adorned with a great selection of classic old books. The ceiling was beautiful decorative tin ceiling tiles, and the room had many decorative antique style lamps. And last but not least it has a beautiful gas fired fireplace which added to the charm of the room. The gentleman who checked us in us extremely friendly and helpful. It was quite evident that he loved his job. We would definitely recommend this to anyone we know. Thanks much for such a great experience! AAAAA

The decor of our room was of Southwest style; it was beautiful and cozy. It was a treat staying at the Strawberry Inn; the personnel was friendly and very accomodating.The property is in an excellent location; it's only a two minute drive to the center of Idyllwild. Close to the town attractions, but private and quiet at the same time. I cannot recommend the Strawberry Inn highly enough!
