This is our first time visiting California, we had a great time but we were slightly uncomfortable with leaving in the evening times, a lot of police activity and people roaming the streets who did not give a safe comfortable vibe

Great stay!

My family of 5 stayed for three nights and had all the amenities of home. The apartment is newly remodeled with beach decor. There is an on site washer/dryer downstairs that you can download an app to pay for use (no coins needed which was nice). The property is about a ten minute drive to the pier. Lots of close grocery stores, restaurants and fast food places. The owner (Andrey) was very attentive and remained accessible if needed throughout our trip. I would recommend. Great for a trip with the family!
