We came to Missouri to visit our 1st granddaughter! The house was in excellent condition in a nice neighborhood and had everything to make us feel at home.

Disappointed
We did not need six beds, but we did need a house big enough to host our family Christmas Day. The pictures on the VRBO website indicated that this house would suffice. However, the basement was not as pictured and therefore was not usable in the way we had planned. Also, the basement stairs were extremely deep, dangerous and not to code. Advertising a fireplace but not having any firewood on hand nor any fireplace tools was certainly misleading. A warm fire would have been nice because that was one of the coldest rooms in the house. All but one of the beds were too uncomfortable to sleep in and there were no top sheets - just the duvet in the entire house. We inquired about this and were told they simply use a bottom sheet and the duvet, but they wash the duvet covers after each visit. There were zero kitchen towels or dishrags and not even a broom and dustpan (which would have been helpful for our ten day stay). We had to purchase our own cleaning supplies (Windex and bathroom cleaner) because the bathrooms were not as clean as one would expect and there was something sticky all over one of the end tables. The kitchen chairs were cheap and falling apart - I had to borrow a set of allen wrenches to repair them. There were multiple light bulbs out, but fortunately there were extra bulbs in a closet. I could go on, but those were the main issues. This house was definitely not a good value.

Good property for our group of 11. Everyone had a bed. Enough space to spread out. Could use a little work on the outside to enjoy a nice day. Smelled a little musty and dusty when we got there. Other than that, we enjoyed it.

Nice neighborhood, lots of space
We really enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of bedrooms and the neighborhood was very peaceful and quiet. We were pleasantly surprised with the huge basement, and even though we didn't utilize the space, I could see how the house could accommodate many guests. It would have been nice if the kitchen were a bit more stocked with measuring cups, spoons, and extra coffee mugs.

Great place for a large group!
The property was great. There were plenty of rooms and bathrooms which was a big deal for our party of 12. The hosts were easy to contact and were quick to return messages. We only stayed one night and the refrigerator either failed and stopped working or simply lost power (tripped breaker?), which could have caused us trouble for a longer stay, but the hosts appeared willing to resolve any issues very quickly so I have little doubt it would have been investigated and fixed promptly without much trouble. We departed that morning so I couldn't say what proved to be the issue. OverThe place was clean and everything we needed was provided. We'd very much look forward to returning if ever in the St Louis area again.
