An amazing place to stay
The hotel condition is farliy basic , however this is more than compensated by the excellent food which was not overpriced and was amazing plus all the staff were very freindly - will definatley go back to if i get a chance to do so

The receptionist was extremely helpful and kind. The room was specious, comfortable and had its own sauna which unfortunately didn't work. The receptionist arranged a refund immediately for the extra we paid for it. We ate at the hotel restaurant, the food was excellent and reasonably priced.

Absolute gem! We took the room with a sauna and loved it. The staff were very helpful and lovely. Everyone we spoke with friendly and helpful from the welcome to the goodbye. We used the laundry which was easy and very well priced. Lovely area in the summer, I hope to visit in the winter soon 😁... Big shout out to the young waitress (and guide in the winter) who spoke with us about our plans and winters in Ivalo - sorry I didn't get your name.

We stayed here overnight before a flight home. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, restaurant and bar were fabulous! Very walkable to shops and other restaurants. Only not great thing was we had to pull/carry our luggage in the snow across two streets to our building. In case this might be an issue for you just be aware when booking.

Wonderful experience!
We really enjoyed this hotel- highly recommend getting a room with your own sauna!! It was lovely to spend time outside in the cold and come back to a warm sauna experience. Room was spacious, great balcony and very comfortable! The staff was always helpful and friendly and the restaurant onsite was really good and convenient for sure! The hotel also had tours available (our guide Sonya was great!) and that was super convenient as well.

This is an excellent place to stay as a couple or solo traveler. The staff are incredibly helpful and responsive. The guides are amazing. I really enjoyed the aurora hunt by car. The food at the restaurant was delicious. My room with the private sauna was perfect. There is no one that I saw to help with the luggage. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you have kids. It would be sort of boring. But I loved it

The suite is amazing. It spacious and the sauna in the room was nice to have for privacy. The room had a small back patio you could go outside and just watch the view as well. The food was also delicious.

Viihtyisä hotelli ihan Ivalon keskustassa
Kaunis hotelli Ivalon keskustassa. Poroja näkee pihassa. Sähköautolaturit vastapäätä olevan kaupan parkkipaikalla. Ainoana miinuksena, emme tienneet varatessamme huonetta, Ivalo viikon k18 juhlista, jolloin emme päässeet perheen kanssa hotellin ravintolaan syömään iltapalaa viikonloppuna. (Suosittelemme käymään Lauran grillillä). Muuten aamupala ja päivällinen maistuivat. Huoneessa ei ole ilmastointia, joten ostimme paikallisesta K-raudasta tuulettimen. Takapihalla uimaranta. Myös muut palvelut, kuten apteekki ja kaupat lähittyvillä.

Kultahippu Ivalo
Yövyin paikassa mennessä ja tullessa pohjoisen matkallani. Positiivinen yllätys oli viileä huoneisto vanhan pankin tiloissa. Ruoka oli hyvää paikka rauhallinen ja huoneet siisti. Hintataso oli myöskin edullinen laatuunsa nähden. Sijainti myös todella hyvä.. Suosittelen.
