Spacious and comfortable
We love how clean , bright, and comfortable this house is, and in our favorite location, this is our second time renting it, and we will be back. The reason I have given it 4 stars is for the many stairs going down to the house from the parking lot, can be dangerous when icy and we needed to dig ourselves out from under 4 feet of snow last winter, it was a good workout though;) The house is lovely and when we had issues with kitchen sink blockage we got it fixed pretty fast, and when it snowed we had asked for a shovel and got a new shovel delivered right away, but the house needs TLC - updating in the kitchen, the dining chairs need repair, the doors upstairs do not lock well, or jam .

The stairs of this place are 66 in total and should be listed up front. Very difficult to come and go from place for a person that has had knee problems, children, and adults without stamina. The place is very convenient and has all things a person needs for a vacation. The vrbo people are very nice.

Worst vrbo experience ever
Sadly I can’t write a review of the property itself due to not seeing it. 2 weeks prior to our check in date, my elderly father’s health took a turn for the worse and I realized that I needed to stay home and help as a caregiver. We live in a remote area where the doctors are 2 hours drive one way, and my mother doesn’t drive. As I knew his health was deteriorating, I purchased trip insurance in case this exact situation happened. I reached out to the insurance company and was told that I would need a long list of documents, some signed by my father’s physician, in order to file a claim. I also must first cancel the trip through vrbo to proceed with a claim. They suggested that I call vrbo to see if I could get a refund or change my dates as the insurance likely wasn’t going to cover the claim. I did and was told by vrbo that now it was 13 days prior to check in and I would not receive any refund or be able to change dates. (This is almost 2 weeks prior and it was peak season at Lake Tahoe) They also informed me that they actually just did the booking and Vacasa was the manager, so I needed to try and get a refund from them instead. I did contact Vacasa and was told that since vrbo did the booking it was out of their hands. So I requested to speak to the actual local property manager, or if they could forward my request to the owner. ( I own a rental property in the area and have often made exceptions). I received no refund or date changes. Not even cleaning fee

Great stay, looking forward to going back
Wonderful property in a great neighborhood. The house itself was lacking some maintenance such as the doors that lead out from the living room to the patio, but we overlooked those small details because overall the house was in good shape, clean and the location and view were out of this world. In my opinion, Incline Village is the best spot in Tahoe. The location is beautiful, the people at local businesses are very friendly, not overly crowded and no large hotels or malls. Also the great Flume mtb trail is close by and free shuttle from Incline Village to best beach in Tahoe, Sand Harbor. Couldn't ask for more

Spectacular Lake View and Perfect Location.
The view and location of this home cannot be beat. This makes up for what is lacking in the property. If you are considering booking this home know that you will be in a lovely quiet location with very steep stairs down to the front door which will be icey in the winter. The property manager seems to have worked hard to rectify past reviews. The home was clean with newish carpet in most rooms. However, remains of spills and dust behind furniture have been overlooked. The kitchen has beyond basic supplies although mismatched. Be sure to bring a sponge or dishcloths as there were none provided nor extra trash bags. While the bed lines were clean they have been well used and were rough. If you’re picky about bed pillows, bring your own as every single one was old and flat. All of this said we enjoyed our stay.

Nice house but terrible property management
1st impression - 60 feet of 6 ft of snow covered walkway to get down to front door. 10 empty drink cans around front door. 5 bags of smelly leaky trash inside the entry way. No dishtowels or sponges and barely any silverware or pots and pans. Frozen dog poop on deck. Other than all that, the house is well laid out and comfortable in a great location. I will not deal with Vacasa again.

Dangerously snow packed & icy stairs
The property overall was everything we were looking for. HOWEVER, the owners of this property seem to have it ran by a management company who is not doing things properly. The only access to the house is down several flights of stairs. We arrived and they were completely covered in snow and ice, you couldnt even see the stairs. It was extremely difficult and dangerous getting all of our luggage down and up the stairs. I was sent HOA paperwork to sign prior to arriving so I assumed the HOA or management company would clear the steps the next day or soon. 3 days went by and I finally messaged via Vrbo app and no response. We then decided to call the management company. They sent one person out who was unable to finish the job due to SO MUCH SNOW . They put snow melt down and then never came back to finish the job. So we were left with half melted, foot high snow filled stairs. VERY DANGEROUS AND COMPLETELY unbelievable that this was left this way. If we had a small child, pregnant person, elderly person, or really anyone other than healthy adults with us- we would NOT be able to access this house. We had to sled down our groceries… not good. I have messaged the management company several times and heard no response from them via the Vrbo app since leaving to address this. The house has amazing views and had many bedrooms, large kitchen, many bathrooms to accommodate and were dog friendly. The location was perfect. I would have LOVED to give this place 5 stars, i really did enjoy myself here once inside, but the stairs were just a big issue for us. Also the kitchen really could use updated pots, pans, ect. We made due but basically zero spices and things like that were provided. Not enough toilet paper and paper towels, zero laundry soap or trash bags were provided. The small things like that could have made a nice touch. The beds and living spaces were well furnished though and i felt very at home. The fireplace was lovely and the views unmatched. I hope that the owners communicate better with their management team in order to make this a safe place for future vacationers and to turn this into a 5 star rental

kitchen needs help
The view was amazing and the property accommodated our party of six very comfortably. The house has an 80's vibe that seems to be slowly updating, paint colors etc. could stand a refresh. The home also did not really supply enough basic household needs such as a roll of paper towels, coffee filters (even just 5, enough for our stay,) spices, other than salt and pepper (no sugar or sweeter of any kind,) a small bottle of dishwashing soap, body wash, and a laundry detergent pod. etc. The most disappointing part of the home was the lack of decent/appropriate kitchen gear. We had to go out and buy a stock pot so we could make enough soup for the family (NOT a cheap purchase in Tahoe!) Mix-matched pots/pans (some with the Teflon peeling off,) and just a basic lack of things such as a baking sheet, grater, etc. This house is a nice size and seems built for families so I feel it could be better equipped. Other than that, we all enjoyed out stay.

Beautiful sunsets over Lake Tahoe
The property is fantastic with a large open area on the second floor combining living, dining, and kitchen while main bedrooms are below. The house was spotless with plenty of towels and amenities, except for a lack of kleenex, which does come in handy at altitude. Good set of utensils, knives, and cooking pans compared to other Tahoe rentals I’ve been in, but you’ll want to bring a pair of scissors, sharp knives, and a can opener if you’re really planning to cook.

The property was beautiful and really enjoyed a snow day in! It was so magical and the space was perfect for our family of 5. The only issue we had was with the fire place. The chimney didn’t work properly when we lit a fire in the fireplace and the house filled with smoke and we couldn’t breathe.

Beautiful home under awful management
This is a beautiful house in a very quiet neighborhood. Beautiful view of the lake and mountains since it is at the top of the hill ( could make driving a little scary during the snow season) . So when we checked in we were ecstatic . Snd even when we found out the master bedroom faucet doesn’t work properly we thought it is ok the view is excellent. When we realized the dishwasher is not working properly we still didn’t get too upset and said that is ok the view is excellent. But when we found out huge ants were everywhere .that did it for us We called management property 3 times and left a message . No response . Finally one day we got a live person and I explained to him how huge ants were crawling in the kitchen , cabinets , dishwasher , family room area and he said he would notify the management and will have someone call us right away . No one called We have checked our a week ago and no call yet We rented a house so we could cook snd eat at home . House being infested with ants did not let us do that Worst of all was the management lack of response Don’t stay there

Property was clean and the views we're amazing!!! Please be prepared to bring your own pots, pans, basic kitchen gadgets and even plates! All of it was old, broken and we're not usable. Property definitely needs to invest in better kitchen ware. Also there was a bug ant problem. Couldn't sit on couch without ants crawling on you. Other then those two issues it was a great place.

We stayed for a weekend to go snowboarding at Diamond Peak. We wished we could have enjoyed the house more. We didn’t arrive until 11:30 pm on Friday night and had to check out by 10:00 am on Sunday. We think a noon check out would have been better so we could have had a leisurely morning. Just a suggestion. Thank you.

Very disapointed
The photos of the property are beautiful, unfortunately, they do not convey the terrible shape the property is in. We were met with horribly stained carpets, a broken refrigerator , broken fans, an empty propane tank for the bbq- etc. etc. We called the management for help with refrigerator- no one showed to fix, however, someone did bring a propane tank 2 days after request. We were forced to use ice chest during our family stay. The kitchen, while large, was in complete disarray as far as the cabinets. Very VERY poorly stocked, especially considering this is a family home. The home was extremely HOT. With no fans or air flow, it made for a pretty miserable for the 5 days we spent. I would not recommend and honestly feel we deserve a refund for the mis-representation of this home.

Location, view of Lake Tahoe and gorgeous decks fantastic. No mention of 50 steep stone steps leading down to the home's front door. Signed posted in entry hall to remove shoes. Funny as there were several gigantic dark carpet stains all throughout the house. Bed pillows were like flat little pancakes. This rental was thousands of dollars!
