I was so impressed by the luxurious nature of the hotel and the town itself when I came to visit a friend at what I imagined will be a tiny little place in Indiana that is far from any major city. What an uninformed American I turned out to be! Carmel, Indiana is a wonderful place to visit and the Carmichael was simple phenomenal.

The rooms are large, the staff is extra accommodating, the in room coffee is delicious and we could walk to Cake Bake and the Carmel Christkindlemart.

Great location. Staff is professional and friendly. Upscale shower. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, and provide for all your needs whether you want to stay in or go out. Easy access to Monon trail and downtown Carmel. My only regret is that I can't move in!

Coming from Miami, with the price, I did not expect such a great experience. We arrived early and the rooms were not ready but the front desk staff and manager were so welcoming and kind. They gave my daughter the chocolate bar which made her so happy. They had the cleaning team did a fast and good job. We got the rooms very soon after arrival. Also all staff I encountered in that hotel were kind and professional. The room service was super quick. Also the hotel is very beautiful. We came for the Carmel Klavier competition. It is literally 2 mins walking to the theater site. The only downside is the paste was not well-cooked.
