This is a very difficult review to write, as we were hoping for much more from this hotel, but were sadly disappointed. The staff did their best, but we were ultimately let down by the overall location and the state of the accommodation which did not accurately reflect the reviews we had read online. Dinner wasn't available at the hotel upon our arrival (we were told when we got there that we had to book it beforehand), and we were left wandering around the deserted local area in the pitch black dark looking for a place to eat. Not a great start. And then the following day, when we tried to make a dinner reservation, they had a set menu with no vegetarian (or even pescatarian) options, so we again had to wander around Inhambane. The room itself had much to be desired--there were blood stains on our bedsheets, and little touches like complimentary water and insect repellent would have been appreciated. Wifi (which we had to pay for) only worked in the common area and not in our room. All that being said, we could see that the staff was really making an effort to go out of their way to help us--the manager was kind enough to give us her personal phone charger as well as beach towels. And the housekeeper and serving staff were very friendly and kind, although it seemed like they were understaffed as it was hard to get their attention. Looking back, we wish we had either stayed in Tofo rather than Inhambane, or spent a little more for a more luxurious hotel nearby.
