Convenient spot for exploring Innsbruck
Friendly staff and a very nice buffet breakfast with spectacular views. The double family room worked well for our family of 4 with 2 teenagers. The hotel is an outdated, but everything is clean and maintained.

Classic Austrian experience!
Really nice Austrian guest house. Family operated. Restaurant on site, Spectacular view of the church and the mountains around Innsbruck. And wherever you go to rent skis etc, everyone knows "The Bear".

The property itself was quite nice. The shower was inconvenient having a hand held shower head that didn’t rotate. Additionally, I paid more for a double room where colleagues paid for a single room and double room with no balcony and were given balcony upgraded rooms with no charge. As a “VIP” member who attempted to have us all stay near one another, I got the short end of the stick.

This is a lovely ski type hotel. We had the attic double connecting bedroom. The food was very good. The staff all spoke excellent English far better than my pidgeon German.

Traditional, charming Tyrolean hotel in a village high up in the mountains yet only about 20 mins from Innsbruck. The views from the rooms with balconies are absolutely spectacular - I only wish I could have stayed longer.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful village. Stayed in a great room with 2 bedrooms, perfect for a family of 4. The owners are so nice and helpful. Breakfast was great. We will go back for sure.

Cosy hotel near Innsbruck
Stayed for one night as heading to Italy. Extremely friendly staff and excellent food in the restaurant. The view is amazing. The room would need a bit updating, but otherwise nice and clean. I would recommend this place.

This is a charming hotel with breathtaking views of the Alps and lovely hosts. It’s 10kms from Innsbruck in a small village so it’s quiet, but there’s a bus service to Innsbruck if you don’t want to drive. Meals are served in the restaurant which has a terrace for eating or drinking in summer and the views are incredible. Parking is onsite, there is an elevator and the busy hostess speaks excellent English. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay at Bärenwirth. The staff was pleasant and the hotel is in great shape for a place originally built in the 1500s! Unfortunately we didn't eat at the restaurant (which looked really good!), but we did get to enjoy the amazing views of the mountains!

We loved our stay in Patsch! The view was incredible from our balcony and all around the lovely little town. The only thing to note is that Patsch is a notoriously windy location in the fall. As soon as you get to the next hillside for your hike/ski, however, you will be out of the wind again. Barenwirth is easily accessible from the main autoroute and close to many beautiful hiking or skiing areas. Our hosts spoke excellent English and gave us helpful advice and directions for places to visit. The restaurant served delicious local food. We truly enjoyed this traditional, family owned chalet and highly recommend it!

We had an amazing experience here! The hotel was perfectly located in the lovely village of Patsch, a short 12 minute drive to the center of Innsbruck, the views of the Alps from our room were spectacular, the restaurant was excellent, and our hosts very kind and attentive. One of our many fond memories is the soothing sound of the cow bells in the mornings and evenings. We hope to return again!

Don't miss this.
Nice hotel in the mountains very close (15 minutes) from Innsbruck. Rooms with very nice view, simple but very homely. Surroundings are extreme nice, take your time to drive around and you be amazed how beautiful the area is. Owners are very nice and speak very well English. Nice breakfast with excellent views. Good value for money. Just a view minutes drive for an excellent ski resort. Very close to the most beautiful towns in the district. One of our 21 day trip through EU.

My husband and I had a great stay at Baerenwirth just this last weekend. The staff was super friendly and was very attentive. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the portions were large! The room was very clean and had an outstanding view! I would love to come back again to this hotel in the future.

This was a very quaint place to stay. The food and service were brilliant, and the hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. My only negative would be no fridge in the room but I am learning this is not a European thing to do.

Wonderful hotel
What a lovely place! We enjoyed staying in the hotel. Our room was spacious and had amazing views. Very clean, comfortable and tastefully furnished with antique furniture. The bed is incredibly comfortable. The owners of the place are charming and very hospitable. Definitely recommended.

Fantastic location
Didn’t expect this hotel to be such a wonderful experience! Located in a quiet village just outside of Innsbruck it is a great place to regroup and recharge before hitting the city or heading out further into the country. Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, nice restaurant, free parking etc., pretty much all you need for getting good rest. Will definitely stay there again!
