Property is in a very convenient location. Comfortable beds and quiet except for creaky floorboards and the heater going off and not being able to turn back on. Breakfast could be better and the staff better trained as they were very young.

Jessica was the server that checked us in when we arrived and our server for the Sunday roast. She is just the best! On a busy night she was stuck with very low staff and was killing it! Very sweet and gave us great tips on how to get the right buses to areas outside of Inverness. The room was beautiful and such a great experience. I would stay there every time I visit Inverness and recommend it to everyone. Plus, the food is fantastic! I want the recipe to the sticky toffee pudding!

We had a wonderful stay. First night after 15 hours of travel. It was quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the curtains blocked out all sunlight. We slept for 12 hours!

Loved this spot! We spent a week in Scotland and stayed at 5 different hotels. This was by far my favorite. The room was super clean and the bathroom was nice and spacious. We had dinner in the pub and the food was delicious. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Really beautiful renovated property. Rooms well appointed with so many wonderful touches like complimentary savoury and sweet snacks. We were staying her under sad circumstances… the staff were so attentive and caring.

Beautiful room and well appointed. Lovely pub with quintessential pub food. Great for post day pints. Staff was wonderful. If you’re in Inverness it’s worth every penny or farthing rather.

Because we missed our connecting flight we were going to miss the check in window. I called and was assured someone would wait for me until I arrived. Which they did. The bed was so comfortable that we got our much needed rest.

Rooms were located above the Black Friars pub. It was a unique experience. The pub had great live music and food. The room was great, very roomy the bed was very comfortable. Th area was surrounded by restaurants and shopping. Parks and the river were very close by. There was a public parking lot a couple blocks away.

We had a wonderful stay at the BlackFriar’s. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was lovely with nice touches like a basket in the room with local snacks. The bathroom shower and tub were top notch. This was by far the nicest option in town for the price. Great location near everything and a short walk from the train as well as the bus station and supermarkets.
