One strange night
The night person was so sweet. We originally planned to stay down in San Diego but due to a terrible motel owner our room reservation was canceled. I tried to make it home but could not. I know Springhill to be one of the best hotel to stay at. The night clerk was so understanding gave us extra time to rest.

We were in the area for a wedding, and this was conveniently located near the venue. I was a bit skeptical because it’s basically in the same parking lot as some retail shops and restaurants. Also, the freeway is adjacent, so I worried about noise transfer. But . . . I was pleasantly surprised to have a short, but lovely, stay. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient. Our room was clean and had everything we needed for our short stay. The bed was quite comfortable as well, and the curtains kept out the light and any distractions from the surrounding area. Breakfast was nothing spectacular, but they had all the basics for a set-up like this. Hot coffee, toast, pastries, waffle station, oatmeal, etc. Had we stayed longer, I would have been appreciative of all the dining options conveniently located adjacent to the hotel. I don’t know when I’ll be in the area again, but if we were, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!
