Pros: the hotel has a relaxing nature vibe. I liked sitting on the top porch overlooking the pool. I appreciated having a decent kitchen to prepare food in. Cons: mosquitoes in the room in February, they should provide nets for the bed.

Bonita quiet casa
I liked my stay here the first night so much that I booked another, and then another ... it’s in a more quiet area of the island, but a quick walk to the center. The host was very nice and helpful. I really liked the design and decor of the casa, and the backyard private pool.

Worth the Money!
Martin was awesome! We stayed in the Gold room and it was super Romantic! The bed was okay. But the privacy of the place and the awesome service made up for it for sure! Cleanliness was also a plus! Granted, there was maybe an Ant or 2, but you can expect that from anywhere you stay on the Island.

Isla Holbox es maravillosa! Playas hermosas y gente muy amable. El Hotel está un poco retirado del Centro pero es muy fácil moverse a todos lados con las bicicletas. El cuarto tenía unas fallas la regaderas estaba sucia y salía el agua por todos lados también la coladera de la regadera estaba tapada y no se iba el agua. La habitación es muy pequeña y el aire acondicionado lo sentíamos en la cara. El Personal es muy amable y las reas comunes son muy limpias.

At first, I thought it was a bit isolated, but later liked walking to the center of town through the neighborhood. Marta and Martin are great, always working and keep the house very clean. The pools is nice too... Nice property.

Hidden charges that we couldn’t have known about left a bitter taste in our mouths. Just felt like we were ripped off. Martin the caretaker was a wonderful person. Kind of a cool place to stay. The street it’s on was pretty grossly swampy. Some long term solution needs to happen for the flooding streets which were very unpleasant.

Leider war es nicht so wie auf den Bildern. Die Unterkunft sieht insgesamt nicht gepflegt aus, im Aussenbereich stehen verwelkte Pflanzen in kaputten Kübeln. Das Zimmer war sehr klein und das Bett winzig für zwei Personen.

Personal kann kein Wort englisch. Zimmer war feucht und modrig. In der „Straße“ vor dem Haus befanden sich wegen vorherigem Regen riesige Pfützen, die man durchqueren musste oder Umwege durch Nachbars Garten auf sich nehmen musste. Auch nach 4 Tagen ohne Regen waren diese kleine Seen immer noch da. Dadurch gab es extrem viele Moskitos - auch im Zimmer und Haus - Türen waren immer offen. Lage war eher außerhalb. Pool war nicht besonders einladend. Frühstück war ok. Gemeinschaftsbad war nicht sauber. Zimmer wurde nicht geputzt, auch kein Wechsel der Handtücher trotz Feuchtigkeit. Für den Preis und die bisherigen Bewertungen haben wir wesentlich mehr erwartet. Natürlich ist uns auch bewusst in welchem Land wir unterwegs waren.

Ett helt ok hotell
Helt ok! Bilderna visar ett vackert hotell och ja det var fint men lite mer slitet än vad vi trodde innan. Dock verkar standarden vara rätt låg generellt på ön så var ändå ett helt ok hotell. Martin och Martha som hade hotellet var väldigt vänliga och det var även dem som lagade frukosten varje dag som bestod av rostat bröd, frukt, ägg och kaffe. Tänk dock på om ni betalar förskott med paypal att ha bevis på detta då vi ombedes betala fullt pris på plats fastän 40% redan var betalt. Magiska hängmattor på takterrassen som vi ägnade många timmar i att läsa i!

Martín es muy amable, tiene muy bonito ambiente, la piscina es muy comoda, tiene buena ubicación y el hotel te presta las bicicletas con las que puedes moverte libremente por toda la isla.
