Husband and I went for our honeymoon. Everything was beautiful! Space was beautiful, shuttle option to 2 other resorts, live music, dining on site. They did activities for kids! Definitely got an adult only vibe BUT they did try to keep kids entertained.

The resort is beautiful with excellent service and great views. Every area of the resort is very clean. We appreciate the shuttle to and from restaurants. The ability to enjoy all three resorts (Amara Cay, La Siesta and Three Waters) is a great bonus. Be sure to take the water taxi with Capt. Michael!

This was our second stay at Amara Cay. We love that the resort is walking distance to a few great restaurants, an iconic tackle and bait shop and that they will shuttle you anywhere. The staff are great, specifically want to name Sarah the manager who was able to quickly address a few hiccups we had with accommodations. The run runner water taxi to the original postcard inn is amazing. specifically Ryan and his captains were FANTASTIC. They helped our girls get to and from the resort safely but also were generous with their time and guidance on fishing tips, etc. They made the water taxi experience above and beyond exceptional. I hope Ryan gets to see this message, it’s well deserved. The only frustrating thing about the resort was the POS system was down all weekend. Which meant the inconvenience of having to constantly carry a wallet or credit card. And if you’re anything like us, we wear primary a bathing suit the entire duration unless going out for dinner. So this meant carrying personal items, ensuring they were safe at our lounge chairs, or while exploring other sister resorts. Not being able to have the convenience of charging the room whenever my 4 kids needed or wanted something. One day of a tech issue is tolerable, 3 days is not. Besides this, we truly LOVE this resort. It’s super well located, maintained, and has everything you could need. My kids roam the property, ride bikes, fish etc and we never worry about their safety (ages 12-15). We will be back!

"Beautiful Location, Disappointing Room View"
We recently stayed at Amara Cay and had a decent experience. The location was beautiful, and the staff was friendly. However, our 'partial ocean view' room didn't quite meet expectations. The direct view from our balcony was of the HVAC units, and to see the ocean, we had to turn sideways and look around the corner. This wasn't the ocean view we anticipated. We brought our concerns to the front desk, but unfortunately, they didn't follow up or offer any accommodations. It felt like our issue was noted but not prioritized. The lack of effort to address our concerns left a sour note on an otherwise pleasant stay. Amara Cay has potential, but attention to customer feedback would elevate their service.
