Loved our room with Lanai. Bikes were easy to borrow. Beach is lovely. The free boat shuttle between resorts was the highlight, with Mike and Patrick being excellent maritime hosts.

Amara Cay is a good family resort to stay at in Islamorada. Room rates are reasonable and rooms are clean and comfortable. There are several recreation items available for your use. We would definitely consider staying there again. One small area for improvement - the resort needs a basic sundries/snack store where guests can get light snacks, drinks, and the usual things that are often needed - suntan lotion, TSA locks, tissues, basic health/first aid items, batteries, rechargers, etc. We understand that is in the works, but not built and opened yet.
