Welcome to the Isle of Palms! Bring the whole family to this wonderful 8-bedroom, 8-bathroom home which features a private pool, elevator, rooftop views and is located just one block from the ocean and from the popular "Front Beach", known for its wonderful shops and restaurants. Offering 3 stories of porches, take advantage of the island breezes and the Carolina sunshine.

You will love the open floor plan with combination living room and dining room, with an oversized dining table seating 12. The living room has a very open feel with plenty of seating for everyone and a large TV for entertainment. Just off the living room is a great wet bar with under the counter ice maker. The kitchen is just off the dining room and is outfitted with 2 dishwashers. Each of the 8 bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom. There is a TV in every bedroom, 4 of the 8 bedrooms have TV with cable service remaining 4 bedrooms have smart TVs. This is a raised, 3 story home with an elevator that services all 3 floors.

Outdoors; relax and feel the island breezes on any of the 2 covered porches or lounge around the pool, climb the spiral staircase and watch the sunset from rooftop crow's nest. The pool area is very private and offers an outdoor shower, poolside grilling with a large outdoor dining table. Propane exchange available at our office during regular business hours.

Bed linens, towels and starter kit/ toiletries are included. 1 towel set per person is provided. Beach towels and beach chairs are not provided but are available through local Beach Chair and Umbrella Rentals. Keurig Coffee Maker provided.

Misc. Property Notes:
Pool heating is available for flat fee of $350.00. Please pay when you book, we need at least 2 weeks notice for pool heating. The pool is heated by a heat pump, if the ambient air temperature drops below 58 degrees the pool will not heat. Temp must stay above 58 degrees. There are no refunds if the outside temp is below 58. Living room fireplace is not available for guest use. This is a privately owned home, the residential elevator is not ADA compliant. Please no children to play in the elevator. Complimentary Wi-Fi however, we are on a barrier Island and WIFI and cable services are never guaranteed.

Parking: The car cap for this home is 8. There are 2 extra parking spaces on the backside of the pool fencing. Please park in front of the signs/spaces designated for 1002 Carolina to prevent being towed.

Nice layout but disappointing stay overall
The number and size of bedrooms and bathrooms were great and they were clean. The layout of the family room and kitchen are also really good. The negatives- 1) arrived to find 2 broken toilet seats; 2) towels, tissue, household items were very sparse; 3) stairs are extremely loud and need to be redone. If members of your party keep different hours this is an issue; 4) CO detector kept going off at night and management was so slow to respond we had to call the fire department; 5) a gas smell was apparent in family room and the fire Marshall stated that the tankless water heaters were not being properly maintained; 6) the bars and restaurants on the backside of the house are very loud at night- this is more problematic for some dooms; 7) there is a sign that warns that AC should not be set at less than 70 degrees. That’s crazy for the prices being paid. In addition the “hotel bedding” used by the host does not breathe which makes the temperature at nights feel even hotter. Very dissatisfied with the value for the price paid.

Couldn’t have been a better house!
Was there for my friends bachelorette party and wow!!! The bars are walking distance a long with shops and coffee shops. Grocery stores are super close and could walk to them if wanted to. The pictures online for this house do not do it justice. It’s even more big and beautiful in person! Only confusing part was trying to work the elevator. 12/10 and would definitely stay here again!!

Loved the home! Bests were very comfortable, plenty of room, close to restaurants, very clean, and the pool was partially heated during our time there (must have been from previous renters) and it felt amazing! Only downside was all the stairs. The first floor is two bedrooms with the wash/dryer but the stair layout is weird so it was a ton of stairs just to walk into the home to the living room. Wonderful stay though!

Overall it was a good vacation. I am just a bit annoyed that I had to pre-pay $380 to have the pool heated and did not receive a refund. It was only heated for 1 day, since a cold front came in and temps were below 55 for the rest of our time there. I don't understand why we wouldn't get refunded if the pool heater wasn't on for the durration of our trip. One other complaint is that the floors and stairs were extremely creeky and you couldn't go down the stairs without waking the whole house up. Shower drains were slow to drain. We did like the home setup and liked that there was 2 refrigerators and an ice machine.

We have been vacationing in IOP for almost 50yrs. The house was perfect for our family; great room/bathroom combos and no bunkbeads. We actually stayed in this house about 7 years ago and it has been updated since then which was nice.

Amazing location
We had a great trip (18 total ppl - 8 adults and 10 kids). The house is as described. There is a door in the fence that makes the beach walk just a couple minutes. The trees in the yard make the pool a little dirty and the house needs more forks (we ran out every meal) but those are small things. Overall, the house was great.

Everything was very clean and our group of 14 felt like we had enough space. Each bedroom having its own bathroom was a game changer! It would’ve been nice to have more than one bath towel/washcloth per guest since we were there for 4 days, and beach/pool towels would’ve been helpful. Instead we had to go buy pool towels to use the included pool. I would definitely stay here again, it was beautiful and convenient.

The Perfect Reunion
This property was incredible. I had a group of 21 that fit perfectly in this 8 bedroom 8 bathroom home. The walk to the beach is about 50 feet and the house is right next to the Windjammer which is a super fun beach bar on IOP. I can't recommend this property enough! Additionally, if you rent beach chairs through IOP chair rental you cant get a beach spot reserved right next to the sandvolleyball nets. Perfect for my doctoral class which is comprised of former athletes!

Amazing beach stay!
We held a crew of ladies at this house for my sister’s bachelorette party and it’s everything we could have dreamed and more! Being able to walk out the back gate to the beach, restaurants and shops was super convenient. The house was beautiful, clean, and spacious and the fact that every room has an en suite bathroom was great. Plus can’t beat having a pool! The check in and out process was easy. Short Uber or rental car drive to Charleston too! 10/10 recommend and hope to get back someday! Thank you for an amazing stay!

Wedding week vacation
My fiancé and our families came to spend an entire week together before our wedding! The house was gorgeous! The location was absolutely perfect! The pool was simply amazing! It was enough room for all of us! We LOVED that each room had its own bathroom! It was simply a dream house! There were a few maintenance issues that were there before we got there and it seemed whomever was there before us had an engagement party as well they had left pool floaties in the pool, which was not a big deal at all. We would definitely rent this house again in the future!!! So close to the beach snd driving and walking distance to anything we needed! Highly recommend this VRBO home!
