We had a mixed experience. The staff was wonderful—friendly and attentive, always willing to help. Their positive attitude made us feel welcome. However, the hotel itself needs some improvements. The room lighting was too dim, making it difficult to relax comfortably. We also faced issues with the room cards. Upon check-in, our card didn't work and had to be reissued. Unfortunately, this happened again on our second day, which was quite inconvenient. The amenities were lacking as well. I had to request slippers, and there were no cotton pads provided. The toilet roll was very rough, adding to the discomfort. I hope the management addresses these issues soon. Overall, while the staff made our stay pleasant, the hotel could benefit from some updates to enhance guest comfort.

The area around the hotel is dirty, nothing to see, you have to walk /travel long distances to get to the main attractions . Good thing is that there are plenty transportation in front of the hotel. The check in was fast, the front desk staff was kind and helpful. Breakfast is good, they offer English breakfast, variety of pastries.We stayed 4 nights and for the last night our room was not clean, it was almost 4pm, there was no shampoo for the last 2 days , I had to ask the maid for clean towels and to please take out the trash. Other than that, I can say that is an average hotel, a little pricey.

I have stayed in this hotel regularly for a number of years and it has gone significantly downhill in the last few months. The room had not been thoroughly cleaned - there were a number of hairs in the sink, shower and bed. There was soap residue in the shower. The last resident had even left a pork pie in the mini fridge that clearly hadnt been checked. You no longer even get complimentary water in your room - this is now very overpriced for the room you get.

Stayed overnight in a family room with my two daughters. One double bed and one single. A little cramped in the room but fine for us. Pillows on the soft side, again for us. Good shower. Close to underground.

room was quite noisy, 1st floor, close to a pub; in the bathroom there were 3 tissues available; i was asked for a 30 pound deposit, whatever for? there was nothing in the bedroom refrigerator; i might have expected too much from hilton, quite disappointed i'm afraid.

Staff were welcoming and really helpful, attentive and customer-focused throughout stay. Compact but lovely room with everything I needed-hairdryer, ironing board etc. Quiet around rooms, not much exterior noise. Lovely Reception area.

Do not use the iron!
Below par for what you’d expect from this chain. Fortunate the staff in the restaurant were fabulous as they made up for the keys not working for the room, the iron being a death trap, no bottles of water for the room and the most pointless uncomfortable pillows ever.
