Recommended by many people and you can understand why. From the friendliest staff to the incredibly convenient location, the luxurious rooms to the smallest of touches ever staff member adds to your stay! Amazing Amazing Amazing!! Highly recommend checking out the rooftop bar, specially over the weekends as it provides a very nice chill out area while also doubling as a fun and lively venue. Everything feels clean and brand new. A top class, top standard stay. I would recommend cancelling any other bookings and extending your stay at the Barcelo over any other hotels in, or around, Taksim. A big shout out the the incredible Dilara out at the front desk - she cares about making every second of your stay comfortable and enjoyable (great attention to detail and it looks like she runs a great team around her). Also a big shout out to Perihan. I ran into her two or three times on my level of the hotel and she made sure to check that everything was perfect at all times of my stay. Her attitude and professionalism was not forgotten and greatly appreciated!

There is no water bottles in the room as complementary. But there is a coffee machine . There are barely any type of toiletries except shampoo conditioners and soap. Over all the value for the money was not satisfactory. Called customer service to get sewing kit. After half hour wait my husband had to go request from the receptionist. They said go back and they will send it to the room

The staff were very attentive to us. Hanieh of guest services took great care as well as Huseym our housekeeper. The building was impressive, the amenities fantastic and the breakfast was superb. We will definitely stay here again.

Location is great as it's walking distance to Taksim square and metro. Staff is amazing as they are knowledgeable, eager to help and pay close attention to detail. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Bed was incredibly comfortable and the hotel is very quiet. Breakfast was well worth the addition. It was our first time in Istanbul and this hotel but certainly not the last. Extremely happy with the hotel, the service and our overall stay. We plan to return to this hotel.
