Lovely clean room, great breakfast and very helpful staff. Although the immediate surroundings don’t look great, the Blue Mosque is only a short (albeit uphill) walk away.

Hidden Gem
The hotel staff is exceptionally good Great breakfast New and super clean premises Kare Hotel, like the other hundreds of hotels in the Sultanahmet area is located on a narrow lane and quite difficult to walk up/down hill. Also, getting taxis is near impossible.

Central Hotel in Istanbul
Excellent hotel - had a Delux room, spacious, excellent soundproofing that thankfully blocks the call to prayer early in the morning, very clean with good sized bathroom and walk in shower. Excellent breakfast, with omelette on request. Arrived early to a forced airline change and offered to join breakfast, and phoned when room was ready. Can't be faulted. NOTE ON LOCATION- Need a taxi for arrival and departure if you have luggage. Steep cobbled roads and plenty of steps make it virtually impossible to haul luggage with wheels , even for a very short distance. Otherwise very central, everything within walking distance.

The hotel is excellent. The rooms are great - comfortable bed, quiet, great shower. It is very difficult for anyone with a handicap issue to walk anywhere. The hill is very steep and difficult to maneuver. There are no restaurants near the hotel and that requires walking up the steep hill.

Staff are helpful place is good but the steep hill you need to walk up was a killer. Also rooms look bigger online - but rooms in hotels in Istanbul are generally pretty small. Location is good - pretty close to everything

This hotel was awesome! My daughter went with two other friends and felt incredibly safe the entire time! The room was clean, and it was in a good location. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul, especially younger solo travelers who don’t want to be scammed haha

very well maintained property , and very competent , considerate , helpful staff. Very close to Grand bazaar, and to famous mosques. Good free breakfast, and close to very nice restaurants. Old , narrow, hilly streets outside , charming , but could be very difficult for handicapped person. ( Not for us, we're fine). Only criticism is , sound proofing could be slightly better. (But it is not too bad)

This is a phenomenal hotel. We had few issues and they took care of us. Like immediately!!! Staff here are attentive and they really defined the true meaning of customer service. I am thankful to Ali, their staff who helped me with my luggage when I lost my key to open it. He brought tools so we can unlock my luggage and we did it. They really take care of their guests and I do hope management recognizes Ali’s hard work. He is beyond amazing. In addition to this, they have a great selection of breakfast. Overall, a pleasant hotel and I would recommend this place to whoever is going to visit Istanbul. Location is also close to everything.

Very convenient location (10 min. walk to Hagia Sophia and Grand Bazar). They helped us to arrange transportation from/to the airport (50 euros per trip; around the corner there is a travel agency offering the service for 35 euros). Bosforus cruise can be arrange there too (the service provider pick us up and drop us off nearby the hotel).

This is an excellent hotel; comfortable room with great facilities - safe, fridge, tea making facilities, brilliant bathroom and superb air con. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Good location for the Hippodrome and Blue Mosque etc although the area is very hilly. Able to walk to all the sights we wanted to see very easily. Plenty of restaurants and a supermarket near by. Thoroughly recommend Kare Hotel!

It was an average stay since the location wasn’t the best since it’s next to the road and the room aren’t soundproofed like you can hear random noises throughout the night. The breakfast that they provide was alright but very limited. However, the staff are super nice and friendly and helped us out with any of our requests.

The hotel was very new and clean. It is located 10-15 minutes walk from the Blue Mosque and even less to the nearest tram stop so it is very convenient. Being Istanbul it is hilly so be prepared to walk up and down hills. The breakfast in the hotel was fantastic and the main hot dishes changed daily. The room was very quiet and all other amenities were adequate.
