Not convenient for car driving and family. We needed to wait for the barriers to be left every time we are coming back to the hotel as there was no guards or officer attending the barrier. The spa isn’t suitable for a family as the pool is on one side and the changing rooms are on a far way other side. Between them you will cross the gym, barbar and reception were people would watch you from top to bottom with no privacy at all. Ony 4 or 5 places to leave your towels by the pool in such a busy place were people come from the gym to swim. I hated the smoking smell I found every night in my bathroom when I need to go to the loo. It has affected my pregnant wife and toddler as well. It is not a hotel for a holiday as such. Work possibly if you’re single or on your own and do not mind smelling smoking everywhere. I must thank the staff for the BD card and little cake. It’s so kind of you.

Our stay was lovely .. it's my 10th time is Istanbul but first time in melas on a family trip and I can say that it was a very nice stay .. the front desk staff samet was very nice, helpful and welcoming which is a pleasant and makes the stay beautiful .. Salim was very nice he was the guest relation staff and always looking after the guests which again is very nice ... the female staff with the blonde hair absolutely rude with no smile and very abrupt please get her some training ... the housekeeping gentleman mustapha again very nice and humble staff always doing his best to help the location is a bit far away from the buzz of the square however it's very quiet and peaceful with few local surrounding amenities such as supermarket restaurant and chemist ... overall the hotel is nice quiet and lovely .. rooms are nice and spacious with good bedding just the shower drainage system needs reviewing to stop water overflowing .. sometimes there's cigarette smell around not ideal for non smokers so perhaps a separate non smoking floor would be great .. the garden area is beautiful and a bonus indeed.. would definitely recommend to pay a visit

Best hotel I have stayed for a long time
Everything was great. Hotel was new and well maintained. There was no noise problem. Rooms were clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was really good. All the staff were nice, kind and always helpful. I am glad I stayed at Melas Hotel and I will stay there when I visit Istanbul again.
