Rooms are too small. Elevator stopped working for 2 days and we had to walk all the way up to 3rd floor. Bathroom is very small.Even the shower section is so small it is hard to fit in.

Clean, well-located, nothing fancy
The good: Location is very good It's clean and fairly new Very simple accommodations The okay: The standard rooms are very tiny, so you won't have a lot of room for you and your stuff. There is no closet, so you have to hang your clothes on the wall next to the bed, so pack light and try to bring small bags, because there is very little space in the actual room. The not-so good: Don't expect high-end service, it's a very basic hotel for a decent price. It's clean and well-kept, but don't expect any additional services other than a clean, well-located room. If you have the money, stay at the Bank Hotel a few minutes away, you'll get nicer accommodations and excellent service. If you have a lower budget and just want a simple, decent, clean place to sleep, then stay here or the Triada nearby.

Convenient hotel for one night; unhelpful staff
Hotel is very nicely and elegantly decorated; both common areas and rooms. It is conveniently located; close to Galata Tower and within a few minutes of walking from the Spice Bazaar and the Grand Bazaar. Rooms were clean and seemed quiet for the one night we stayed. They are quite small, but acceptable; regarding space, the only problem is there is no room or space to open or unload the luggage. Ridiculously small closet space with only one hanger; which wasn't a big issue for us because we only strayed for one night. Bed was comfortable. Wifi was OK. Staff was polite, but wasn't very helpful; and communication with them is extremely difficult in more than one sense. I exchanged emails with them to request transportation to and from the airport; and I had to repeat and clarify everything with each email because it seems they disregard the previous ones; even though every email was a reply to the previous ones. Besides time consuming and exhausting, they take forever to reply. When we got to the hotel, and wanted to pay for the transportation service, they wouldn't let us pay with a credit card; they demanded cash. Even though I told them I didn't have cash, they said that I would have to go to the bank to withdraw some. Trying to have a conversation was also a challenge. They hardly spoke a word or two of English. Thank God for Google Translate.

Cheaply priced for the location, and the room served well enough for a couple. However cleanliness issues did not go unnoticed. Moldy bathroom and a kettle full of weeks old tea leaves that had turned quite some time ago were the main issues.
