Okay for a stopover
Pretty good for one night. We are not animal people so didn’t really like the smell. There is that slight animal smell. Bed was super comfortable. Room was nice and large. Great having a microwave, fridge and tea/coffee making in our room. The hotel is located on the outskirts of town and not really walkable to town.

The location was good - very short drive to Cornell University and Ithaca Commons/downtown. The room was spacious.

Housekeeping issues
Reception desk was very helpful. I arrived early and they got me into a room, which was great. I had the choucebof 2 beds. On one, the bottom sheet next to the pillow by the bedstand had a weird tuft of fuzzy fabric about 3" sticking up. The other bed had a dead ant attached to fibers on the bedspread. I removed the ant and chose that bed. There was no soap by the sink, so I had to walk into the shower to use body soap to wash my hands. I asked housekeeping for a bar of soap but they said I'd have to go to front desk. Since I am handucapped, that meant I would have to get in car and drive around to front entrance, so I didn't. Refrigerator was clean and I aporeciated the freezer for my cold packs. But to the left of refrigerator inside its cabinet was filthy, with dust and dried remnentsof old food. Breakfast was nice and the temperature of the room was just right. Reception got me a room close to parking and with handicap shower, which I appreciated. All staff were pleasant and courteous. I took photos but cant add them.
