"It’s was fantastic and I hope this family all the best. We stayed when they had just opened but they did not charge us correctly (over charged) and there was no water NO water in our second room. All in all though they were very friendly and after all it is Mexico - so go with the flow. "

"I was very comfortable in the well-designed and beautiful space. There were many windows, so it was light and airy. The kitchen had all that was necessary to be able to cook somewhat elaborate meals. The wifi was reliable and I was able to do computer work and editing. The lights did flicker at the same time in the evening for some reason but it didn't have a negative impact. A wonderful experience!"

"It was a perfect stay for us. Fernando and Fernanda went out of their way to ensure that. Also, they served absolutely delicious Oaxacan food beautifully cooked and presented from recipes handed down from Fernando's grandmother. We wanted for nothing. They are SO kind, helpful and really care about giving the best service as they put their heart and soul into everything they did. It was definitely our favourite place to stay in Mexico. "If you doing a road trip and need somewhere to stay between Oaxaca and Vera Cruz this is the place to stay. Good band for your buck. $60 AUD. Family run business and they own the little store across the rode. The room has nice clean bed linen. The a/c is modern and the added bonus of having a hot shower as they have solar. Highly recommend to stay here. "
